Is there any way to get cash shop items without cash?

Stash tabs are of course not pay to win. If you want embrace the full experience of trading or collecting, you will not get around Stash tabs.

This is why people MIGHT call it "pay to win", since if you get into a very specific caterogy of reachables COMPETITIVE game goals (namley going for first lvl 100 in a new templeague), playing with 4 stash tabs might not suffice, since trading playes a medium - large role when keeping up your mappool and 4 Stashtabs (at least for me) WOULD BE way to less for that. (since im not racing for first 100, it's no problem anyways). Maybe some people are satisfied with the possibility of mule-accounts. I completly embrace and like GGGs stance on MTX. Going for an "good" amount of stash tabs for trading and collecting, you pay ~ the same price you pay for a game bought at the store nowadays for the newsest console (at least in my case that is true).

PLUS you get free gameupdates forever, which is nowadays really RARE in the gaming community. Most of the times, updates are payed DLC.

Hello, I'm an F2P player, at least on this account. There are two cash shop items that I want: the mummy skin for Raise Zombie and the statue skin for Summon Skeletons. While I can easily afford these, I want my account to remain completely F2P.

Is there a way to get cash shop items without paying for them? I know in TF2 there are F2P players with large collections of unusual hats (unusual quality is analogous to rare or unique quality in PoE). They built up their collection through networking, trading, participating in events, etc. One such F2P player, whose name escapes me right now, intentionally stayed F2P to show how far F2P players could get in TF2.

I'm staying F2P (as in zero money invested) out of principle, because I want to find games which are F2P but not P2W. So far, these are the games I've found that fit this category:

1. Team Fortress 2
2. DotA 2
3. Path of Exile

This is a disappointingly short list as the vast majority of F2P games are P2W to one extent or another.

Anyway, back on topic. I just needed a yes or no answer, and it seems like the answer is no. Because KaneAdamson is strictly F2P, I'll probably have to get the skins on my main Steam account.

Those people who would pay MTX to "win" in a league (meaning getting an edge through getting items/maps through RMT by trading MTX for them) do it now allready.

No, it wouldn't be good RMT. It would went to something like Forum Gold concerning PoE.

Imagine the vast amount of races, challenge leagues and so on in this game.

Many "Rich" players would easily trading MTX for taking advantages in this cases.
This would become a real P2W issue.

And i really, really doubt it would effect any of the RMT sites, maybe it would get even worser.

stash tabs are definately P2W!
With 4 tabs you cant do shit in lategame if you play the game seriously... 4 tabs is maybe enough to stash all your currency, but nothing else...


but it still is the most fair buisness model I ever stumbled upon and its definately worth supporting.

So just buy those MTX! You can have thousands of hours in this game, but you dont want to pay for MTX because it is f2P?
