so ele damage gets so much love but physical is left with
really feel like i should give up on making it work after seeing these gloves and just go with the crowd

I was actually writing some notes about ISD earlier.

With the new gloves you can get 285% ISD with Shock Nova, 255% with Lightning Arrow. 225% with any old skill.

Thunderfist is the largest ISD from any source, all the ISD passives only add 90%.

With 285% ISD you only need to do 0.29% of max life to get a shock. And since you'll probably be doing more damage you can probably drop the passive nodes to spend on more useful stuff, since ISD gets hit hard with diminishing returns.

phys damage is better then ele because the reflect properties can be better managed through damage mitigation late game via armor.
Hell, put that on a lightning arrow build and you're done.

at first i read 10% shock duration and thought, ok extremely nice but not too op. Then i saw someone write 100% and had to double check, that is insanely OP. Great unique, but cant help but think this should have a much higher required level and that phy/melee/other skills should be getting a bit more love atm.

I think you got that in reverse. The flat resistance reduction is FAR better than anything armor can do. At 85 you need extremely high damage for reflect to phase you.

Try getting 85% reduction on armor.

By far the most overpowered stat on the gloves is the +100% shock duration, it basically means you shockstack bosses easily now which is ridiculous. The lack of severe downside affixes on these gloves to counterbalance this is disappointing to say the least. This is NOT a niche unique, it is a mandatory unique that crushes all rare gloves. Disappointing...
