+10 str notes are better then any phy% dmg note as they give +12% phy dmg and life but as the base dmg is 25.5 and with added on gear you can get close to 100 phy dmg with +1000-1500% phy dmg.

So it will never be as good as a good rare.

Wouldn't mind seeing a 4 Link Unique Helm/Boot/Glove with just ONE Prismatic socket :)

I wouldn't mind seeing a Prismatic ring turned up to 11 with a Prismatic socket on it.

Maybe have it support the gem on it with added cold/fire/lightning (...of the same level as the gem in it?) too would be interesting

Wow that's a bummer :( Time to sell this thing I guess.

Anyone else love the change to Voll's Protector? At first, I was using it for my cold snap/crit spam build. But now it just seems awesome for freezing pulse. If you have LMP/GMP on freezing pulse and are hitting only one target, a crit will give you 3-4 charges at once.

I can almost use cold snap non-stop with a big aoe pack using only 1 gem. (I dont have enough crit yet)

I wonder how this would work with non-stop discharge.

hehe yes, but Thousand Ribbons have like the worst life :D
best for body armor is high life and 6l sockets.

Ok... there are also other good stats like armor/evasion/energy shield, chaos resist, all resist, but nothing can beat 1000 life and also there is no dispute that 6l colorless are the best sockets

There are various things that change calcs on this.

Increased melee physical damage only applies to your weapon's physical damage. The physical weapon should apply to all damage though. Also more physical damage is a multiplicative support.

I think you're right though that a good rare or Marohi would be better endgame. Need to calc more though. It also has lots of Aoe options... And don't forget the attack speed.

You can also actually use weapon elemental damage with this and you can't so that with facebreakers

You're only looking at this from the Physical Attacker build. There are two other builds in this game to look at:

Wizard: Eh, really great at helping you achieve your dream of a Firestorm that covers the entire screen. But this isn't power so no one cares.

Elemental Attacker: ~80% increased attack speed? That's not local, no? (Assuming not, because that would be loco crazy good.) But, on a 1.25 per second weapon? Can that be decent?

Let's just math out the impacted multipliers, I don't see the actual value in mathing out Elemental Hit in detail.

Faster Attacks is ~44 ias, we'll say you'd have around +50 from the tree, we'll say it's an even 100% altogether. We'll also say you go bananas on Dex and somehow amass 1,000 Dexterity (you poor bastard.

3.75 attacks per second.

Contrast with a thicket bow, with a... what the hell is the max local IAS on a bow? 19%? Am I remembering it completely wrong and they can actually get max? ... why does this site even list the affixes...... damnit, whatever. I'll say 19% and be a fool if I'm wrong.

3.689 attacks per second, and they're ranged. And you can have +elemental damage affixes. And you can take things that aren't craptastic Dex.


So, in conclusion, if its mods aren't local to the weapon, the only remotely interesting one is the AoE. It's a kaizo prize to make you think you got a best-in-slot Searing Touch instead. A mean, mean item tbh.

come on..you could have made the RNG haters twitch even more by:
5L prismatic or 6L but you cant change the colors :P
