Why are so many buils behind a paywall?

yes, its called feedback (Im sorry for those actually posting real constructive feedback there)

@OP: there are countless builds to play high maps with, with less then 3ex budget, or even selffound. the fact you cant make working builds for cheap changes nothing on this statement. Youd have trouble making good build with 100ex when you dont know what you are doing

ok, you misunderstand something about the game and mapping, I want to help you out I dont want to trade hostilities with you mate, this is honest information. At level 75 you should not be in a lvl75 map, you are VERY underleveled for a 75 map. At lvl75 you should be in lvl67 maps, if they are too easy then alch them. You shouldnt be in lvl75 maps till you are lvl83. Google poe experience penalty calculator, stay in the lowest level maps where you still get 100% or 98% xp, that is the content that has been designed to suit a character of your level. That xp penalty is the main drive for pushing up tiers of maps, an alched 67 map can be harder than a white 73 map, the main reason you want to be in a lvl73 map is because your character is lvl82 and a 72 map will start to incur a semi significant experience penalty.

The reason they designed the map system to gradually take you up levels is to stop underleveled players who have lvl75 characters walking into lvl75 maps and getting obliterated, then wondering why they cant hack it. Maps dont scale with you character level 1:1, a lvl78 character has absolutely no place being in a lvl78 map for many reasons.

If you grind characters to the late 80s or early 90s then most of your time is spent in endgame maps, you will find lots of build enabling endgame items. If you only grind chars to 75 then the majority of your time is spent leveling, not in endgame, and the majority of the items you will find are leveling items. I understand time constraints, enthusiasm etc etc, grinding endgame is not for everyone and theres absolutely nothing wrong with calling it a day at the end of merciless. I play purely self found in hardcore, I grind to about 85 there, then Im done and I roll something new. In softcore leagues I grind the crap out of maps, thats where I live, day 2 I hit maps, 4 weeks later Im still grinding them. Each to their own its all good, but the items you find will be appropriate for where you are spending your time, you rarely see a player with a string of lvl90 characters complaining that they cant acquire mid range endgame build enabling items.

In torment I found a soultaker in a lvl69 promenade and a mjolner in a lvl70 underground sea, you can find a shavs in a lvl66 map, you dont need to be in high level maps to find those big endgame uniques, you just need to be grinding some form of endgame zone.
I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)

This is true. I get fucked up on 73 maps at level 73 and wondered about my build. I can farm 66-69 maps perfectly fine though.

That's the sort of builds I want. I don't care about mirrored gear or items like that. But 4 exalts IS FUCKING INOBTAINABLE.
I only play temp leagues because the economy in Standard is so broken + the shit with the legacy items the developers came up with is just so fucked up that I avoid that shit as hell.
And the highest I got was 2 exalts by flipping. Because I want to play the game, not the tradegame.

Dude...please...i don't know why you are doing this, but you are just trolling, or hateful to the game for reasons... I started playing some weeks ago in torment, the only thing I "Bought" was a 25c already corrupted Tabula Rasa cause' I really didn't want to play with a 4 link until I had the coin.

This marauder is around 1,5ex in gear (Tabula is in other character atm xD ), it's a BM Flame Totem that clears at least up to lvl 71 maps (Didn't try higher, but probably can) with plenty IRR/Iqq. It's REALLY easy to get 4 exalt worth of currency and it's is REALLY REALLY REALLY easy to trade them. Go to exile bro, search for the currency exchange you want, find the best rates, and pm, making a Alt - > Chaos - > Exalt trade takes 5 minutes top, and you can make at least 2 exalted per week of pure sheer currency.

You don't need to play the """Tradegame"""" and be trading all day long. Play a week, take 20m in that week to setup a shop for Xyz and convert your currency to exalt ... and keep playing. That's not a "ZOMG PATH OF TRADE", it's 20 minutes.

Also....4 exalts hard to get by ? Please, i'm a total noob at this game (Well, i have not played it in at least 2 years) and I already have that w/o even trying to (AND IT WAS NOT SOME RNG DROP, IT WAS ALTERATION SELLING + CHAOS RECIPE)

Idk if it is trolling. Most noobs don't understand how to make currency (complex game and all). With the drop rates of high currency so low, 4ex seems like a huge sum. To an experienced player, an ex is an hour or two of gameplay. No great gear required, just game knowledge.

The thing is....I don't consider myself to have a GREAT game knowledge, i don't remember all the recipes, I don't can't tell at first sight if a resistance is T1 or T2, but at least I know that in torment I can get a Exalted for around 400 alts :p

Hehe, I think I stated on like page two, pebcak or troll thread. I am just trying to give the benefit of doubt and all. As I think snorkle put it quite succinctly, the OP is not very receptive to sound advice.

I bet you get more currency because you bought packs (?)

Another thing to note is that when i say "that build costs ~4ex", i don't mean that one requires to have 4 exalted orbs to make it but rather the total sum of currency spent to obtain the items necessary and bring them into the required shape roughly equals 4ex worth using normal conversion ratios. this includes crafting, socketing/fusing, recolouring and maybe buying one or two items for a couple chaos etc.
