You're not that important to me that I'd need or want to make what is said in private public knowledge. No one is. Privacy is sacrosanct in my opinion, now and ever. Which is why I acted as quickly as I did when that was breached and spoke to the other mod about it. Why you'd fear that from someone who clearly took steps to erase it is utterly beyond me. If I like a game, it'll either be amazing later or awful forever. There's no in-between. I am Path of Exile's biggest whale. Period. I apologized as i copy and pasted an entire page instead of my own words by accident. It was a mistake which i went to fix directly after posting it and Charan had beat me to it. First of all, thanks to the moderators for keeping up with all this influx of hate and miserable posts since the open beta started. You are invaluable and I for one couldn't ever do that job without getting a heart-attack out of pure rage in real life. I kinda feel sad how in a week or two the community has exploded into this breeding ground for hatred, insulting and whatnot. Anyway, great post, peachii and may you (and others) have strength to keep going. :-) Also, thank you GGG - open-beta has been a blast! It may be because I play on the opposite of prime time, but for me personally, the launch has been smoothest open beta launch I've ever experienced. No DC's to speak of. I love it. Do not for a second doubt that your appointment was worthy, peachii. It was neither a hasty nor thoughtless move. We all make mistakes, and I for one am extremely thankful that both the other moderators and many of the players understand this and accept when it happens -- provided we learn from them. And then move on, better for the experience. :) Because goodness knows we'll probably be making more in the future, despite our every effort to the contrary. ^_~ If I like a game, it'll either be amazing later or awful forever. After playing the game some more, I felt like an "asshat" leaving those comments and pushing attacks. When I sat down to play the game again. I realized that, that stuff mattered not, as the game removes thought of such trivial matters. Matters that I escalated, for that I am sorry. I regret seeking quarrel on forums, when I could have been playing this amazing game. I (and the other mods) may not be employed by GGG but i do view this position as a serious commitment, I would never compromise myself or my standards of honesty or integrity on purpose but I am human and i do make mistakes (mainly when I have been awake for several days with a migraine). No excuse but that is what happened when i misclicked the whole page instead of one small part of it. I try very hard to not reflect poorly on GGG and i know the other mods do as well.
