Ondar's aren't pretty bad, they are straight terribad, they offer nothing that people look for in the boot slot. No MS, no res and weak stats even for the level. Compare them to Wanderlust and you will see that these boots would never be chosen over the alternatives. If you can find an EB, MoM chara using these I will give them a special medal.

At lvl32 I can't imagine anyone having a decent amount of ES that they could really make good use of the MS on full life, also if they do it means they lose MS just when they need it. If anything it would be better if they offered MS not on full life. Also they no longer off the most MS in the game, that goes to Nomic's Storm or Darkray Vectors if you invest in Frenzy Charges. The only use for these boots is skin transfer.

that you CANNOT use auras? (HoT+CoH, Purity of Lightning - necessary vs reflect with his avg life, Haste, Disc/Clarity/AA)? really this is a BENEFIT now?

you say that ~50spell damage (or rather 25/25) is worth loosing both heralds, AA, MoM or whatever else? sorry.. but that is trying too hard to prove your point

some say that the BM is a benefit.. so getting 50 mana per cast is a problem now? what? WHO NEEDS BM GEM for a discharge build?!

you can make even stronger build with 3link burning discharge, using normal defenses (not some crazy glass cannon setup that are too glass-cannon'y even for SC standards) using any other helmet

malachai might be good for low lvls - buuut.. back then a) noone has it as it is very rare drop b) you skip low levels c) if the stars align correctly and you have it at lvl 17 then the life is actually bigger problem than mana. it is a nice spell damage boost - true. but the sustain is scary and it is hard to beat pure HoT, let alone Hot+CoH at lvl 24

this mask might be BiS for this very build. nothing else. sadly the build's viability is clearly seen in the video and i doubt anyone sane is going to even attempt such feat in HC

I kinda see the point in the OP and now when the topic name was changed to be even more precise, there's really no reason to add any (more) uniques on this list.

I had a post with uniques like you linked that need "a bit love" some months ago, but haven't updated it in a while. Could do that and bump it, and then uniques like you linked could be added there.

I'm willing to forgive Deidbell because it has a really rare mod that increases all melee damage. I think only daresso's salute has such but that one works only when on full life, and salute is league-specific besides.

How does shavronne have such a good chest + ring, but boots that are so bad. Heck even the mod on it doesn't make since in regards to what her chest is used for (low life, mod on boot is when full life)

Acutally thats a great observation, theres a massive dissonance between these items' use, same thing was noticed with volls devotion and volls baptism(now named geoffris baptism) that armor gives power charges but the mace cannot crit, so the name of the mace was changed to geoffris.

i think it would make sense to change the name of shavronnes pace to something else

sry Vic, didnt read the whole thread mate cause its getting a bit long in the tooth. Just wanted to give a +1 for the original post, was going to make a similar post actually on a new of these items.

Terminus I would lead up by reducing its drop rate slightly in advance to clear out some old stock then buff its crit chance to like 9%. At this number its still worse than a binos in many ways, similar deeps, no shield, less crit chance, no access to the op dagger crit nodes... what we afraid of? that people might actually use it and have crit 2h swords be a thing with this item and result in builds that are a bit like a shit version of a binos build? doesnt sound too bad to me tbh.

Essentia... energy shield on hit? Like 25 es gained for each enemy hit by your attacks? 30 maybe?

Those were two of the thoughts ive had for a while on those items.

I would like some change to Incandescent Heart. The life feels so random and has no place on the item. If the chest could roll another 100 ES or if the conversion was higher that might save it.

This armor is fine. It serves multiple niche purposes.
