||| Reflect Mobs NEED Recognizable Auras! |||
Mobs that are effected by Reflect rare Monsters, need readily recognizable Auras! (like the Immortal Aura)
Surprise Deaths from reflect mobs, is hands down THE most frustrating mechanical aspect of POE. Do I hate Reflect? Quite the contrary. I think reflect is an excellent mechanic. It provides a tough challenge for powerful players. But more importantly, it herds people away from the all too popular "Glass Cannon" DPS builds that seam to plague almost every MMO. However, it all falls apart. A good mechanic becomes less of a challenge and more of an annoying frustration when it Surprise instant Kills you, with absolutely no warning. There are currently two ways (that I know of) to test for reflect. 1:Tap each mob with a light attack of some sort to check for reflect (Slows down game play and clear speed massively) 2:Hover over the respective Rare monster and check for reflect. (This is also slow and ridiculous, as Reflect Ele/Phy Damage Mods are usually hidden amongst other mods and barely noticeable + Rare monster and it's Crew are usually attacking you while you're trying to determine reflect or not.) PLEASE give us readily recognizable Auras/floating symbols for Elemental and Physical Reflect mobs! *It will greatly improve game play (Give's players a chance to use Tactics when approaching a reflect mobs) *It will Greatly reduce frustration/Rage quite/abusive letters From players fed up with the current reflect problems. I agree wholeheartedly. I quit my level 80 ranger completely due to reflect. She was in no way glass cannon, and still constantly dying due to off-screen shots from her split arrow. I was dying to mobs I couldn't even see yet, so even a recognizable aura would not help.
Reflect is OK, but it's 2 or 3x too powerful. |

Am I one of the few that don't have any problems seeing those auras?
Are you sure you're not hitting reflect mobs off the screen, and thereby should fix the problem yourself since the aura isn't going to be visible no matter what it is? If it's something on screen, it's up to you to make sure you're hitting what you're hitting. If you don't know what you're attacking, you should suffer for not knowing. |

I play on medium Graphics, And in MANY circumstances (depending on the color of the area and the size of the mob) The Current Auras are barely visible, let alone 'easily recognizable'.

Reflect Auras Need to be AS VISIBLE as Immortal Aura. It would help if they were constant and not pulsating.

Oh please, its visual enough to ID the reflect mobs as it is. I think its more about not hitting them by accident when shooting across the map with the 10000000k dps without looking at all than actually running around looking at mob mods before attacking which is what everyone should do in the first place.

incredibly easy to spot the reflect aura, the only time you don't see it and possibly die to it is when you are hitting it off screen but that's a different issue.
