Answering Questions about Insane Mjolner Gavel if interested.
" Sorry i saw your build, and although I am sure it will do more damage, it just is not needed. I mean I can face tank almost any boss in 77-78 maps and kill them in just seconds. To boot I can clear any full screen of mobs instantly in 78 maps. You seem to rely on a mix of gear and flask to handle reflect where as I just kill a whole screen of reflect and fill my life up. I require no gear, flask setup to do reflect. Just curse and kill and ignore. 90% of the time I have 62% block and 62% spell block with 60-90% phys reduction and insane resist and little over 6100 life. I never die, and could easily run this build in any HC setting. So im sure you might kill bosses a second or two faster, but whats that matter really when you are already killing stuff in just 2-5 seconds anyway. I'd prefer the safer build where you can face tank more. Thats just my opinion your build just seems very sub par. |

" HEHE, no I was just being sarcastic, that guy was actually implying that everyone knew everything about Mjolner and there was no point in even talking about it any more. I was just poking little fun at him for it :) But yea sure, I am getting to bed now, but tomorrow I will try and post some screenshot if you like. I did write above though my stats if your just interested in what they are. I will post shots though to confirm if needed. |

" That's kinda my point, I honestly thought you wanted to show off or just feed your ego, or even thought you had some special mjolner no one else had, from the wording of the thread title. Since mjolner and this build are nothing new. My bad. Last edited by ancalagon3000#6581 on Jan 7, 2015, 2:05:06 AM

How can you afford this 20 exa item in the first place? That's what i want to know.
It would certainly be fun to try if only i can figure out a way to conjure up all those exalted orbs. I would say that is my biggest gripe. Lol. |

" The lightning damage mod on the Mjölner doesn't apply to your spells, only to lightning damage dealt by weapons. " Two ways: (1) You wait an eternity and hope for a lucky drop that you can sell (or it is the item you want to use). (2) You play the game and don't waste currency on gambling, but keep everything to sell it vs Exalted Orbs. It's not too hard to use the Vorici deal once per day, in Standard league that's already 0.5 ex. |

Vorici deal? Is that the gems they alternate? Or the fusings for jeweler orbs?
I don't waste currency on gambling so that's something positive for me then :D |

" I thought the same thing when I first started playing this game. I would see people buying 20 exalt items after just 3-4 days into a new league. But after playing this game for such a long time now I have picked up allot of ways to make money. I mean making 2-10 exalt a day is definately doable. I would say 2 exalt is average, but some days you make 10+ or more. I would do stuff as simple as picking up all gavels, stone breakers, stone hammers and vendoring them at 20% q and a crap 66 map to get a chisel. Then every other day I would sell 120 for 1 exalt. Or save up jeweler orbs, buy fusing and sell 80 fusing for exalt. Sell alterations/ chomatics in bulk for many chaos, and so on. I tend to make on average 100-150 chaos a day doing this. Then I dont spend money on gear. I will buy something for really cheap to get me started, then I only buy gear that in BiS. Let me expalin why, if you buy a upgrade for say 10 chaos, typically it will make you much better but eventually you will want to replace with better. And that 10 chaos item by them will be worth 1 or nothing. But if you save up and buy a sick BiS ring for say 2-3 exalt, that will not lose value and will always be worth exalts usually. Just invested smart, not wasting money on multiple upgrades and doing many many maps. There are allot of other tricks, like know what items to pick up, what items are in demand as builds change. Back when CoC builds was all the rage I would farm Ambushers and craft a base blue ambusher with t-1 or t2 speed and high crit. This gave base dagger with 9%+ Crit and like 1.8+ aps. Then you regal and mod, sell for couple exalts. I still do things like that, but just with different gear, I try to craft whats in demand. It takes a good understanding of what builds are kind of the "Flavor of the Month" and craft gear accordingly. Like allot of people do not play Dual Spork totem builds any more so gear typical for that might not be as valuable as say a Tornado shot build gear. Hope this helps, it just takes time to understand what is valuable and what is not. A Combination of making, crafting, farming currency and not wasting it on things of less value or on things that will depreciate in value. |

I also pick up the hammers for the chisel recipe but no way in hell i can make 60 chisel a day from that. I find maybe 6..
10 exalt a day you say. Doesn't take long to afford mjölner then. You should write a more in depth guide about this. I'm sure people would be interested. Last edited by kompaniet#2874 on Jan 8, 2015, 4:35:00 PM
