Phylacteral Link
Please remove or rebalance Phylacteral Link. This mod in indoor maps usually means that part of the map is done. Especially when they spawn near necromantic vigil mobs that can't die, and they you are in quite a pickle (proper fucked, that is). Now pair that with Haku mission with tunnels and lightning ball spawning totems and you have a proper HC rip situation.
At least make it so we can damage them, but they can't die. Or let us leech life from them. Right now, you have two invulnerable fuckers following you all over the map. at least make the non tagged enemies vulnerable to damage but not die.
do "balance" team really think chasing 1 out of ~20 around the map and rinse and repeat fun. |

I'm tired of people complaining and asking for nerfs, the Bloodlines league is already too easy. Please leave this be, it's supposed to be annoying, it's supposed to lead to potential rip situations. LEAVE IT ALONE. Make the other Bloodline mods harder please. |

The problem isn't really that P-link is hard. The issue is that it's annoying and just disrupts gameplay. If the player had some control over where the active mob marker goes, it would add a skill element. But the way it is right now, it's just boring, especially with runners and/or large packs. I skipped most P-link groups in pack eventually. Or twiddled my thumbs while they gathered around the totems.
Anyway, got to 80, which was the goal, so I'm done with Bloodlines. I enjoyed the league, but P-link was one of the least fun mechanics I've encountered in the game to date. | |
I get the concept of the phylactery mod. Really, I do, and there is merit to the concept. It does make the encounter more difficult.
But it also does what GGG should have learned people hate from previous leagues: slow the game down a ton. Sometimes phylactery takes forever to kill, and becomes just stupid and unfun. Example: I am in library right now. Those freeze pulse guys are phylactery. For some reason there is literally like 15 of them in the pack. They are spread around THREE DIFFERENT ROOMS. They didn't even all start in 1 room. Even if I could slowly get them to actually follow me and cram together (which i probably can't risk trying..), it would still take forever to kill 20 phylactery monsters. When you get these huge packs of phylactery monsters spread around it's just dumb. Especially if you are playing solo. Phylactery would be better if there was a range at which the monsters stopped being linked, and/if you could actually do *some* damage to the other mobs at the same time, even if you can't kill them.
