Hell this mod makes the huge "instaSPLAT packs" actually an encounter to watch out for.(like beetles and all of the little critter blue packs that otherwise make you go "yawn")

I for one hope they keep this modifier and maybe adjust it a bit.

Here's my solution... give 25% of a pack the active target. Limiting it to 1 per pack is what makes it so damn annoying. Once you get a pack down to 4 or 5 it becomes a reasonable mod. It's sifting through 20-30 mobs to find the one you can hit that's stupid. If that 20 mob pack started with 5 active targets, it wouldn't be nearly so bad.

P-Link was designed to be a pain in the butt for AoE characters, and it should be. But making it work the way it currently does is a PITA for everyone.
if you can't kill them, can you convert them with conversion trap?
also i'm wondering what would happen if you killed the vulnerable enemy with dominating blow,
would it still beniffet from phylacteral link? would it lose it?

You do realize that this mod has been removed from the game some three years ago, right?

sorry, i wasn't trying to revive the thread, plus the mod ain,t gone because i encounterd 3 bosses in a map with the mod

that's likely just the "allies can't die" mode. just kill the rare monster or totem which has this mod. if there are two of them, try to separate them first.

Those bosses specifically have it. It used to spawn on blue packs of monsters.
