Give me a good reason why should i give up months where I saved currency, accumulated gear, leveled masters and having finally a good chance to build a good character and............starting everything from scratch again?!?!??!

I play on standard for this very reason! I just can't wrap my head around why people enjoy it, you spend countless hours leveling, grinding for gear, collecting great stuff, and then wrecking ball comes in! All that work gone just like that, all the hours logged playing basically mean nothing, and for what?! Sure you can say "well that's part of the fun", ..."I guess so?!" if you think it's fun spending hours on something that will soon not exists! lol...To me that's like someone building a dream house, then knocking it down on moving in day! lol, it's like why even bother?!

I also don't get hardcore, same game and story line except a different penalty...yet people act like they are all high and mighty for doing hardcore, BUT it's the exact same freaking thing! lol...only difference is I like keeping my shit, I logged the hours, my butt falls asleep, so on and so forth and I want something to show for it when I talk poe to friend except for my word! If it was more damage and whatnot sure brag away, but it's not!!!

Idk, I will never understand I guess..

Yea,you know one day you will quit PoE to another game and live all your "wealth" there, so why even bother ?
If you play standard you've got nothing to lose by trying the hardcore temp league. Your character will go to standard when you die and if you want stuff out of your stash you can just suicide mule it with a level 1. It is a really fun experience the first day with all the announcements (high rank deaths, first to enter areas) and people excitedly linking item finds in global chat.

Whether you stick around or not is up to you but you should check it out day 1 for sure.
When I kill a man he stays dead.
This is one of those questions you should never ask. :/

lol beyond and rampage were the most cared leagues right? RIGHT?

Yes. They don't care about hardcore legacy and they care very little about standard, so yes:).

so you only get to keep stuff in your inventory per char on HC, not stash, when you die?
Dark_Chicken - lvl 100 Marauder
Divine_Chicken - lvl 100 Duelist

Huh? Your stuff on the char/inv goes to standard, anything in the stash stays in the stash till leagues are over.
Well, you could also just take a break for a league. I tend to burn myself out on the game, then take a break for a few weeks or months, then return and play some more, usually when a new league starts and new stuff is added. So for me, new leagues bring me out of hibernation. :)

But anyway, I used to only play leagues, because I prefer a self-found style, and when everyone starts from scratch, there are a few days of relative equality. It's also typically more fun when everyone gets excited over the drops that people vendor in Standard. I did play Standard during the last league (early on anyway, then break) so that I could get a character to 90, which typically I can't do in three or four months (not solo self-found and with a job). It's mostly the same game, so it was just fine.

The next goal is level 90 in HC. For that, I may play in the next temporary HC league since I do like the rush and the adrenaline high, and the "challenge" mods add a bit of spice and flavor. So the temporary league is ideal for me. I see little appeal in the softcore leagues after getting to 90, but I also have no ambitions like level 100 or getting the best gear. I much prefer a more "iron man" mode.

But it's just a matter of preference. Play in the league and in the style that offers you the most fun. At least PoE gives you choices.
New economy, nice mechanics, league-only uniques are worth a lot after merge, start from scratch, challenges and rewards.

What's there not to love?

PS!
Even a Lifesprig drop feels good at three month leagues.

Because leveling, grinding, collecting stuff is FUN?
And you can do it in a fresh, new economy and with a new ladder mod?

Sounds reasonable too me. I play only ladder.
