"balance team" changed to "rory", my bad English preventing me to make myself clear enough.
For the rest I have no idea what you mean

I found a little logic mistake in these quotes: they are doing stuff for "new players".
Well, normally I would 100% support such way of tackling your game, but... Since POE is filled with 50x times more (and harsher) noobtraps than EVE online this really looks baffling.
It really sounds like: "You see this cactus ? We are going to cut one needle in half. I hope this incentivize more people to go try to hug it !"

typical forum response ,this kind of thing would be downvoted to hell in reddit resulting in a more clean discussion both literally and figuratively .
Do you like others deciding for you what's worth reading and what is not?
I'm capable of making my own decisions.
It is funny since thats all reddit does , it makes you have a choice .You can still read bad messages if you want , but the fact is that you at least have been warned not to waste your time and if you think it is worth reading you can definitely do your part and upvote it.Quite the opposite in the forums , you barely have any choice at all.Anyway the point was that you can have a cleaner discussion , not on this.
aaand obviously my post was removed because IT MIGHT offend some really sensible person about things he does wrong meanwhile that person`s reply is still there because his troll CAN be taken as naivety , lol i think thats all it takes to prove my point, forums are a s.h.i.t.h.o.l.e.

And that is, the balance folks are paying attention... and this kind of dev interaction on the official forum would go a long way toward making this a more hospitable place.
I agree with you but I tend to also look it the other way around now : if the official forums were a more hospitable place, we would have good interaction within the community itself and between devs and the community on the forums. As someone says, "F Reddit", but I have to admit it's a way better place to discuss about the game right now, and I guess you're in the same case since you're going more and more on Reddit these days.
The biggest difference between Reddit and forums in my opinion is that the forums can't prevent a good quality well made post to be screwed over by massive non-sense/trolling/..., or a bad post to gain significance. On Reddit, those issues are pretty much solved by the "downvote to Oblivion" thing.

Well on Reddit you can get downvoted by things like spelling errors or humor incompatibilities. Not really a good place for foreigners.

True, as a non-native I already got downvoted because of that, but in general the PoE subreddit is way less toxic than these forums, alas !

it is just the price you have to pay , reddit is not perfect in any way but it is better in what truly matters, having a good discussion .
