it looks nice in 2D art, but... what can be done with it?
the amount of Chaos Damage skills in the game is very limited, and something like a crazy Voltaxic Rift to utilize this armour isn't an option for me.

what builds is it for?

It's (debatable) good for a skin.

umm viper strike? hence why it has increased leech rate to make up for lack of physical dps. Soon as i get one i'll put it to use. would work great in combination with the atziri flasks.

only 40% increased chaos damage seems awfully low considering most chaos damage in the game is already scalable through other means nowadays. poison arrow's dot is scalable though projectile and area damage, viper strike is scaled on damage over time and spells that get chaos damage are scalable through spell and whatever specific mods they may have.

the other mods are nice though. good life and the leech rate increase is nice, especially if you stack with vorici's signature mod and quality leech gem.

A buddy is using it with a Voltaxic and his tooltip for Tornado shot is 13k while still being survivable... 18k if in the YOLO gear. The chest definitely has some uses.

Voltaxic for sure. The life leech rate is a bit wasted since Voltaxic is immune to reflect, but it's nice to have.

Alongside Atziri's flasks on any build.

Poison Arrow and Viper Strike minorly.

I always found the leech rate mod and the chaos damage mod to be a bit conflicting, at least against reflect; the former improves reflect mitigation and the latter bypasses it entirely. while I think Voltaxic is a really good fit for it, Viper strike arguably might be better, especially if you're crit.

Hell, if you have this, a 20q Life leech gem and a perfect vorici mod item, you're looking at 90% increased leech rate, or around more than a third of your life leeched per second.

But yeah, really just waiting for the skin. I'd probably cringe if it doesn't have pants though. >_>

well Voltaxic is .... yeah, not an option.

as for Viper Strike - I'm really not sure to be honest.
it's level 69 which means either it is a huge upgrade to an existing VS build who made it to this level, or it's not.

Sadly leech doesn't apply to dot, so PA and probably VS are out. Also chaos damage increase is meh, but that's another story.
It probably could only be relatively good with voltaxic, like already mentioned.
The player that payed for this nonsense must be proud of himself.

What of Dual Apep's Incinerate with added chaos damage and life leech gem? that viable, right?
