Will you cry when crit gets nerfed?

I won't give a damn. If they balanced everything from the start it would have been fine. How many years now with constant nerfing and stupid game breaking items etc? GGG have little idea about balance. I wonder if the "balance team" get performance bonus's?? Bet those guys live on stale bread and water!

Ya lets make all build bad because Casuals QQ too much. This is a hardcore Arpg if you cant live with people who put effort in it to be much better than you go play a casual game like D3 that throws GG loot at you.

Basically any build or item that takes longer than a few hours per week to obtain and isn't cheap, the casual crowd will cry non stop until it gets nerfed.

Today's generation of young players do not see things as a goal to work towards, they have this mentality "If I cannot have it, no one should, nerf everything that isn't available right from the start or very cheap".

It's sad that POE is starting to go down this path of catering to these types of mindsets.

I sign this.

I am amazed that people are such douchebags that they if they don't have fun, no one else should.

You think crit is overpowered? Go play one. Don't want to? Then don't. Play one of thousands of other builds.

It's that simple.

But no, kids who have no real competence or experience in game, can't stand for it, and want other people to suffer.
It's really frustrating.

And just to be clear, I don't play crit nor do I plan to, and additionally, play only temporary leagues, so it doesn't affect me in any way what happens to crit.
Even if they nerf my specific non crit build (which I honestly doubt they will), I'll find something else, or try to adept.
I play Flameblast character with extra survivability in HC, and have no problems oneshotting even blue mobs. With regular gear, on lvl80, and few points spent on damage nodes.

It does affect me however that these kind of people are being catered for and run things in the game. You never knows what is next on the nerf agenda.

You put the last nail in the coffin. QFT. Great builds require great effort.

+1000

This including low life and Mjolner discussions (if they listen to kids and nerf those two I'll be really disappointed, playing almost temp leagues only and I'm not a master in the art of trading, I'm working on a super expensive build since anarchy, now I have all the pieces together in standard (including a 248% shav) to have some fun with a rainbownuke build and maybe skip next 3 months leagues)

Because arguments don't work when all the other side brings to the discussion is "u prolly never played crit" "casual kids jelly" etc. :P
This community is kind of sad at times...

"Casuals"
"If I can't afford crit builds, no one should be able to". Sad.

"Hard core players"
"If I can't be able to face roll everything with a clearly OP build, this game is shit". Sad.

Some people cry and cry and cry about how easy this game is, but when it's time to nerf something, that will make the game more challenging, they cry like babies. Sad.

A build that one/two/three shots some of the hardest bosses in game is OP, no matter how HARD it is to abtain the gear. If you can't handle not face rolling everything like this, you should think a little.

Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.
No, No crit build no cries (I tried an imitation of Bob Marley but doesn't work in non vocal)

I'll toss my 2 cents also :

IDC about crit non crit, back to OB best was inner force + snapshot + a lot of auras. It was powerfull, it was one of the best paths in tree at this time.
I took a break and I'm pretty sure there were other FOTM.
Since last tree rework crit is new FOTM, and won't be forever. Just to underline the cycle effect, crying at FOTM is pointless, as crying about ppl who cry, there will be always FOTM and always ppl to QQ about it. Just don't post in QQ threads.

My concern is more about the last new items than the crit mechanic/tree.
I was doubtfull when shav was released, it s an item which broke the fundamental rule of POE, no big advantage without drawback, mostly illustrated by the reflect.
And then I discovered when I came back soul taker, acuity. And I wonder WTF ? Why such items, they are best no matter what, and then they become legacy, so as a non hardcore player (not enough time ....) I'll never have them :'(
I'm ok those things if I know that one day I can have them, I'll need prolly a year to get a low life build with shav while some people have dozens and they destroy them with vaal. But I know I can have them with grinding/trading and that's good enough for me, but here I feel like some very good items can be obtainable by few people because they are limited offer :(

I always chuckle alot when people bring that dudes post up like it is some deep revelation.

Like crit builds are hard to do... If any of you people legitimately think it takes effort to make a crit build ... when ALL A CRIT BUILD IS is a bloody normal build + crit nodes and a crit weapons ... then wow...

just wow.

ive made crit builds that were under 2 exa and did double the damage of builds that cost 40 exa.

this whole concept that all op builds are the ones that require expensive items and detailed build planning to work is completely ass backwards, they are op because they don't take effort. that is the definition of op , too much return for too little effort.
