I will find it annoying yes.
But that's because I believe that just scaling the top back (and only the top) isn't the right way to do it. If you're going to scale it back, give non-crit a buff so that it's more middle ground and that the particular play style can expand farther into harder end-game content. Crit should always have the opportunity to do more damage. That's the point of a critical hit. However, non-crit builds really suck by comparison. They need the balancing really bad. |

" wrong... non crit builds dont suck.. aside for maybe 1h RT + shield builds since they have absolutely no dps .. when you say suck .. that would mean anything non critical would basically not be able to clear any of the endgame content ( or at a turtles pace) that is not how it is... yes crit is broken overpowered... but for example in diablo 3 .. .if you dont invest in crit.. good luck doing ANYTHING. but in this game .. without crit.. all content is still clearable at a relatively quick pace (there are definitely some non crit builds that can clear maps pretty fast.... so my point being that yes crit is broke noverpowered.. but its not required to clear endgame content.. so you should be happy for that. |

Is it comfirmed that crits are being nerfed? I don't see anything in the dev maniphesto. But then thats where the dev news appears last it seem (which doesn't make sense). Was it posted on reddit or leaked by an alpha or something?

" Basically any build or item that takes longer than a few hours per week to obtain and isn't cheap, the casual crowd will cry non stop until it gets nerfed. Today's generation of young players do not see things as a goal to work towards, they have this mentality "If I cannot have it, no one should, nerf everything that isn't available right from the start or very cheap". It's sad that POE is starting to go down this path of catering to these types of mindsets. |

Ya lets make all build bad because Casuals QQ too much. This is a hardcore Arpg if you cant live with people who put effort in it to be much better than you go play a casual game like D3 that throws GG loot at you.

" Crits were just as op before 1.2 and they didn't nerf them, thats why im not sure if they will actually nerf crits. They did nerf crit multi like 1 year ago and chances are that the devs are satisfied with the crits right now. They might be thinking about buffing RT and 2 handers instead, which would make more sense. RT : -Allows non-crits to inflict elemental status (I think it's ridiculous that only crits can apply those properly) 2 handers : -buff/add phys dps nodes and ele dps nodes for 2 handers -buff all crit chance on all 2 handers -makes players take half damage from reflection when using a 2 hander -Give the marauder/templar back some max resists passives but put at the very end of a big 2 handers wheel so that 1 handed builds would not want to pick them.
