UNSET Ring VS Diamond Rings (Dragon's Hold ReDvined.)

Basic Concept, 60% crit chance from diamond rings (10% overcapped) thus you need 1 20% crit chance node if you only use 1 dragon's hold, I you use 2 Dragon's hold You need 1 Power charge, Aka 2 nodes.

My question is this, Why doesn't UNSET rings get more love in terms of mirror crafts / Min max Rings.

It is extremely flexible with Gem combinations, 2 gem slots vastly out scales 2 Passive points.

16/14 Gem slots 2 Gem's over typical capped.

Extra stat such as lets say a diamond ring > One gem socket that's not connected to anything what would you put in it that's useful that you don't already have or over kill?

Vaal gems, arctic armour, lightningwarp/leap, heralds, molten shell, curse.

Lots of things can go in there. I'd say it's pretty much on par with 30% crit, potentially better, it fully depends on the build. If the extra sockets allow your build more completion then it will be more powerful.

A vaal gem is too limited a stat overtakes it by far hence you don't see many mirrored unset rings etc and such.

Seems like heralds costs too much. LW is worthless without reduced duration. Leap worthless w/o faster attack. Basically only thing I'd pout in there is things like AA or RF which need no support but even them are quite a bit better with a empower..

All crit all the time seems just more stable.

You are not meant to Spam the Lighting Wrap, you typically Use whirling blades to move around, You use Lightning wrap in maps like lvl 77 shrine to cross Hard terrain.

LL BM ST greatly benefits from these things because the mana reduction is already so huge you don't need Reduced mana etc.

Using 2 Dragon's hold ring, it lowers your dps by a little, because it uses 2 more of your passive nodes, however what you gain is the utility of 2 more gems. Utility in terms of defenvive / offensive capability, Vaal disc, Vaal haste etc, and Prolif...

If you really wanted you can Put herald of Thunder with Curse on hit Linked with assassinations mark, Esstinally giving you a 7th link, where you can remove the PCOC gem in your Shavs.

Because I use two Dragon's hold ring I can fit Elemental prolif into my herald of ash, It spreads the ash over kill damage endlessly, it actually multi stacks on top if itself, it just spreads and spreads if it kills a target.

I Can still have Vaal disc & vaal Haste supported by Increased duration on my sheild, but I'm LL BM ST, Aura's are cheap and affordable without reduced mana~

by Having 2 dragon's hold I could Also Link my whirling blades onto my Enhance blood rage, blood magic, (Enhance's Qauilty actually increases the attack speed on whirling blades) It almost macthes the stats of whirling blades supported by Faster attacks (save 1 faster attacks gem slot)

It was messy because of the order the messages were layed out~

I prefer the passive points. I don't feel like an unsupported gem generally brings enough to the table to warrant losing a point for.
