I think you are right. Somehow your version of PoE has monsters so terrified that the moment you step into a map, they are dying from fear and run around screaming:

Game is engine is not good enough to handle some netcode-vise, and not graphically optimized to use others.

@topic: LoL community is horrible in normal games and low leagues (bronze silver). At gold/diamond most ragers/trolls/noobs are already filtered out.

Some of my characters use Poison Arrow as a primary skill, but if I'm playing in a group and someone makes a comment about it making things difficult for them, I will leave that skill off and switch to a different one. I do wish there was an alternate skill effect (Purple Haze mtx would sell well I'm sure)so that PA and maps with the 'of Desecration' suffix wouldn't be such a pain.

I do double arc in parties haha I do check people's reaction when I do put discharge on It's fucking amazing.

Same with PoE, really -- a truly good game tends to choose its most ardent fans and devotees, but there's nothing in the rules that says those fans or devotees have to be truly good people. Where LoL attracts super-competitive pvp types, PoE attracts super-competitive build-theory types.

It's the 'super-competitive' bit that defines things. But I'm preaching to the choir here, eh?

LoL attracts far more super-competitive theory types than PoE. The world championship (only the finals remaining) is being decided by mainly intellectual prowess.

Just lol.. i stared this game just about 2 month ago and can pretty much solo every map even with hard mods on it as Long as the mod is not breaking my build.
But even then i can do it, just tried a Ele Reflect map with my CoC Scion.. was slower than normal but i could do it...

I can´t even imagine how anyone could feel that solo is not viable... if anything i would say playing in a Party can be harder for some of my builds... (Flicker Striker that Needs kills to Keep blood rage up, gets harder with Monsters having more hp and others taking some of the kills)

LoL and HoN have much worse communities than PoE.

In LoL and HoN, you get stick before you start the game in the lobby, during the game, and after the game. Furthermore, you get it from your team and the other team!

In PoE, at least the monsters leave you alone.
