Simplify passive skill system visually
It would be great to if there were like suggestions,tips, hints or something that could guide your build to be as good as i could be for the char/buildt u wanna do :) dont know if this has been up för disscussion allreday doh

This kind of system prevents people from following the obvious builds and encourage people to explore the possibilities. I say there's nothing wrong with having a huge skill tree like this, when you get to higher levels and try to follow the builds you want you start to understand the skill tree much better.

i hope they double or triple its size, since once you start to use it your mind quickly narrows the path you will choose.
3 path 1 each Stats then you make choice. Int? > Crit or Fast cast? / e-Shield or not? / Fire/Ice/Shock? etc... Str? > Melee dmg or HP/Resist? > Choose a weapon Dex? > Accuracy/more dmg/faster move? but they change it in 0.9.3 anyway so lets hope its even bugger and more baddass! If they gonna do it even bigger they have to have armors etc that is only for 1 built. because if u gonna get where u want with it u cant afford to like for an ranger put out some skills in str or int, because its so many other things in the tree for your char u need more

I really love it how it is.
It's that type of thing that makes you want to paste a giant poster of it next to your computer. Games of recent are missing things like this. |

an idea to simplify the skill tree could be to implement tematic group nodes, were in the main tree you have larger buttons to visualize the group nodes,

Yeah thats a quite nice way to put it, i would like it. Because i think its a little bit, how do u say, blury right now, its more like a maze then help you to get were u want

" very different, yet very great point of view ! My thoughts are that we need more time to figure out, and to get the best out of the tree. If we had any kind of filter, then we would be like one-eyed jacks, cause half of our mind would still left to think the filtered/unfiltered part of the tree, which i mean there would not exist a good solution in the end. I like this skill tree system i think its unique and interesting, i like reading and figuring out witch paths to take and plan my progress. so I would be disappointed if the changed the big wall of awesome to something smaller.
