Anyone else straight up HATE Vorici

I have failed 97.4% of his mission because of the amount of mobs coming at you and the skills i use not being the best to use....not hurting a pack of guards but having to kill 1 is soooo lame when you mostly use aoe type abilitys.......RAGE

Either group for his missions or take your time. I currently play a Searing Bond Templar and can do them mostly without accidents. On the rare occasions I can't find someone with more surgical skills, here's what I do:
- Kill the guards but leave the target: Lure them away in small groups/alone a little, pop SB totems, kill and cancel them right away again with two Rejuvenation ones. - Kill the Target but leave the guards alive: Same as above but using Conversion Traps to "park" the guards at convenient locations. Even on level one, the conversion lasts long enough to walk out of their aggro range. The Masters' missions are definately easier for some builds than other but so far I haven't seen one that was outright impossible (except for some of the crazier things Zana throws at you...) Exit, pursued by a Plummeting Ursa.

" My main skill is aoe too. I have so far failed only one mission, and he has more exp then all the others. I also have his hideout since I met him first and leveled up first. His missions are one of the simplest, nothing like Haku's desync or Zana's impossible mods on a timer. Yep, you need to separate the exile and the guards, or lure all of them away from the chest, its so simple. Kite them, don't warp / leap slam / whirl and just run, with quicksilver when needed. Don't click right away when you see mobs, kite D. |

So far only failed 1 due to mistaken objective, blame I didn't read. I find his mission rather nice, it's a guaranteed rouge exile! Hand in the quest after completion - then back to kill the rouge exile =D

" Just so you know, once the quest says "talk to Vorici to complete", you are free to kill whatever you want. Kill the exile on the spot and then go back to Vorici. :) --- I love Vorici on my build, but I could see his quests being a pain in the dick for anyone who can only do AoE (discharge, others) and Summoners. Find a friend or play reaalllly carefully. |

TBH I don't think that the "separate an exile and his guards" missions are that hard. After all, the guards use the normal monster AI, therefore, you just have to put an obstacle that blocks their line of sight between you and them and they forget about you.
Many rogue exiles behave different - they will keep chasing you. With that in mind you can easily separate them. |

Daily Mission: Keep target on low life for 10 seconds.

I kicked him out of my hide and he can go suck it in sarn after 3fail dailies in a row.
Screw that one Vorici can shove his fuse up his [removed]

I tried to play a two-handed melee sword-wielder with a focus on single target skills.
Elreon can go to the void for all I care. 0/10 relics successfully defended. 0/1 corrupted relics destroyed. With area of effect characters, there's no problems what so ever. ... However, I've never failed a Vorici mission, because I always sport at least one single target skill. " I always kill the guy after completing the quest.
