Now, even if you are using the computer science term 'exploit', it usually refers to using bugs in the code that cause the software to behave in unintended ways.

The stun mechanic currently in the game is functioning AS INTENDED, now whether or not these intentions will change based upon Kripperian's "exploits' is anyone's guess, but Kripp is not cheating.

as a beta tester, our job is to find these loop holes, all these problems, so that they can fix it. theres only so much a tester can do in alpha. fail player not understanding what is going on.

well i would be satisfied if chars were wiped when the game actually releases then

ppl using bugs and exploits in beta shouldn't be allowed to use items or currency they gained from abusing those bugs when the game actually is released.

you just mad you didn't found it first.

Additionally examples of real exploits would be:
A bug or series of bugs that allow the duping of items.
A bug in the code that allows the full map to be extracted from memory.
A bug in the code that allows you to intercept another person's password.

Kripp is doing none of these things.

Incidentally, what is it OP is so buttmad over? I don't follow this Kripp person and I've no idea what he is doing.

Neither a bug, nor an exploit.
A bug is an error that was but in by accident.
An exploit is using a bug to do something.

Stun is not bugged, it is working as intended.

He talked to chris about this build before leveling the character and I also remember seeing a POE video where Chris says they encourage using some mechanics to their highest potential to make some builds work and if after a while they think its too broken, they tweak some mechanics

But why they hell should he be banned? This game has a stun mechanic and hes making use of it - hes not even the only one or the first to do it as stated by others

Both clearly overpowered crap that is doable in the game. Not fair to rest of players when you have ppl taking advantage.

Because Stun works the way it does by design, a dupe bug would not be designed it would be accidental.

Big difference.

Also, I was right, you're getting boring.

I'd much rather that this sort of clever of of game mechanics goes on for a while before gentle changes are made than a Diablo3 style response of "We pretty much disabled the stun talents, we might figure a way to turn them back on once we're sure people won't be able to have fun with them"
