Want a key? PUZZLE TIME (MK2)
Well, looking at the values for the code we have several repeating letters...
F and S and B Then, looking at the Numbers given we only have one repeating number 1 So the numbers are not tied to the letters in any single pattern. As, if that were the case, we would have 3 repeating numbers since we have 3 repeating letters. So, we have four sets of 5 numbers in the "cipher" 1,13,2,5,8 3,14,12,8,17 7,11,24,22,10 9,19,1,4,23 Each one of these corresponds to one of the 4 sections of a beta key (I assume) The only possibility I can conjure is that each of those strings of 5 numbers have individual transpositions built into them using the "two numbers and two letters" that are mentioned. I.E. 1,13,2,5,8 has its values shifted by some value (one of the 2 numbers or 2 letters) and that somehow translates into the proper order of B7RAF (the first part of the code from the previous post) I don't know what the numbers and letters are though, people have suggested several things. TL;DR This is entirely too much work for me to play a video game so I wipe my hands of it. Last edited by Enkidu#5653 on Oct 5, 2011, 4:26:43 AM

I'm having the same issue, really. Perhaps more obtuse thinking?
For what it's worth, you might be able to brute force a bit of it by assuming that "FR" are the first two letters of the code, and seeing where / how they travel to there from their current positions in the cipher. I tried that earlier in notepad, but didn't get very far. Confusing![/quote] yeah I tried that too, but neither some sort of adding, subtracting or multiplying the numbers and positions lead to any result, and the numbers can't be direct positions since 1 appears twice. |

8 also appears twice.

" Yup, just noticed. The point still stands though. |

I wish your GF would make you solve same "puzzles" every time you want sex

" Durr.. yes it does. I mentioned that in an earlier post too. I have been staring at these data sheets I created for too long. But still, the number to letter ratio is TOO DAMN LOW! |

" Bravo to you and WhiteBoy88 for making me laugh so hard over the past few hours. I am thoroughly enjoying this thread. Edit: If I manage to get a key somehow, it is going to you UnnecessaryHats. Failing at wrongdoing doesn't absolve you of your attempt at wrongdoing. It just makes you a failure. - WhiteBoy88 Last edited by AusJock#4021 on Oct 5, 2011, 4:37:59 AM
