You should try out something called
DFX Audio Enhancer Plus. It has to be plus or it's not so good. Basically it's a windows-wide equalizer. If you have anything from random speakers to a good sound setup, that equalizer will tremendously increase the quality. Only if you have an extremely good setup, like professional soundcard and music system top tuned will it be useless, for any regular person it can improve your sound greatly. I use settings 1 3 1 1 That works really well for my speakers, and it makes a world of difference. Imagine i'm hearing a recording of rain. With the equalizer the rain sounds rich and realistic, as though it is around me, without it it sounds dull and recorded with a bad microphone where everything sounds grey. Turning it off is like removing color from your vision, the difference can be that massive, depending on your speakers. Do not use without plus version or it sucks. Clearly there would be illegal ways to obtain it which naturally i do not condone. Older version support only 1 music program at a time, but the newer ones are windows-wide, for everything including games.
