More inventory space
I don't know if someone suggested this before, but there should be a larger inventory space. When you go on "adventure", you have to leave a lot of items. I know this game is trying to be realistic, but I hate when I have to be picky on items and swap them a lot. And I know I can always go back and get the same items or better, but everything is valuable to me so why not pick them all?

The game isn't trying to be realistic. It is trying to make you think.
What you are saying here is: "I have to think about what loot I take, and what loot I leave, rather than just picking it all up." I'd argue that all you've done is vindicate the dev's approach to inventory space, and the game in general. You are doing precisely what they expect you to do in regards to loot. I don't see any reason to add additional inventory space given that little realisation right there ;D MOAR PANTS, because every good game needs a pointless meme. What realisation do you mean? The fact that items disappear very slow?

Honestly, I think the inventory space is just fine. As a person who has played games in this genre for a LONG time, to me, half of the fun is organizing my inventory as crazy as that sounds.
Also, just portal to town and sell/stash items to make room in your inventory. Portal scrolls are plentiful, not to mention waypoints. |

" Because you have limited inventory space, it's as easy as that. You can either move on, or you can spend time picking and portaling. The inventory isn't there to assist you with picking everything up. |

"This! It feels like I'm playing one or two additional games: how to make the most "money" and Tetris. And Tetris is never boring ;) The way I see (and do) it, pick up only items that are valuable for one reason or the other: currency, items with 10+% quality, skill gems, magic items, ... and rares/uniques, obviously. A 2-by-4 plain weapon is worth less gain-per-inventory-slot than a plain belt or ring, and a LOT less than a magic item. :) IMO, more inventory space is bad. Maybe, just maybe, if they added one third of current size on a separate tab (like it was in Titan Quest) as a quest reward or one of several possible quest rewards in one of later acts. Doable once per difficulty and you'll end up with an additional "bag". Not that I'm for the idea, mind you. I prefer the current system - more strategizing required. No love will ever save you, no kisses are too deep.
No cross will give you answers, or satisfy your needs. No faith will give you pleasure, that takes away the pain. But hate will give you meaning, and make you feel again. (Ordo Rosarius Equilibrio) |

The inventory space is working perfectly fine as it is now. It is the same size as Diablo2 and it is designed to make you think what you really want to pick up.

Well...
I agree with this idea. Imo inventory could be a bit bigger or just make items to take just one or 2 spots in it - or just set mobs to drop less amount of crap. And don`t say i`ts all about thinking about what to pick up. I have played Diablo series and other similar games. I was younger and had plenty of time to sit all day with a game etc. But now I`m 34, still love gaming but unfortunately I have also more other things to do... as many of us... so when I sit at my PC to spend some time with gaming - I don`t want spend 2/3 of time looking at my inventory - I want to do some progress. In this game I have only 16th lvl atm and at this stage I can pick up around 6 items and inventory is full due to that I like to have also some other supplies in it (other gems, upgrade items etc) - so I wonder how it`s looks like on higher lvl when boss drop like 50items (because now some of them drops like 20/30) - than you spend 1hr to teleport from spot to town back and again to pick up all value items? I don`t want to have an opportunity to pick up everything around me but be serious - traveling to town every 10min of game is just anoying. Also if bunch of mobs drop around you 30items - it`s a waist of time to look around and check all of them. Maybe some of you like to play like a warehouse man and spend 5hrs of the game at stash box and look in to inventory - but I don`t. Another thing is Town portal scrolls and identification scrolls are stupid idea. I like D3 new system with this - scrolls don`t take your space in inventory at least. Cmon... This game it`s looks rly nice, give us something new but from other side bring us some old crap ideas from past. I believe we can have more fun with it - but why we always have to come back to old systems... just do some improvements - go with time... Regards to all... " Yes... You don't now. Other people suggested this same "problem". Just use search option You really don't have tp scroll? That is called adrenaline. You must have a free slots in You'r inventory to get item before other player get him first. And that is really realistic and awesome game. I would like to see more consistency in the sizing of a given weapon type, since realistically any 1h mace should be of similar size rather than in some cases being double or more.
I have seen them regularly in both 1x4 and 2x4 versions. |
