DIED BY DESYNC AGAIN

Hardcore = perma death, you accept it by making a char.
Then you complain if you die?
If you don't like losing all your gear then you should play Softcore.
And you already know this game has desync, yet you decide to play hardcore.

If you can't take a death you're not a hardcore player.

He is playing softcore lol... and hes complaining about dying of softcore.... lol i lawled alot just saying

few bucks here, few buck there and you got a good amount of money, its business model, depends on playerbase ..

yeah that's kinda the point i was making.

he's not the only one who's paid to play, so if he wants to rage-quit if HIS demands aren't met...it won't be a big loss if he leaves.

i hate you redditors, you know who you are

lol rage much? i dont think they'll miss you if you quit(neither will anyone else), and maybe you should if you're so unhappy.

blizz has the funds and investors to make top quality games and a lot more employees that work around the clock...you can't even compare. you think your few bucks keeps this game alive?(lol).

go play d3, it's top notch for hc(minus the odd dc, which i can totally see you cry about too, eventhough it's out of anyone's control), and it caters well to people like you who have a hard time with performance issues. that 'puter you played d2 with just aint cuttin it no more kid,

Do you have numbers to be talking like this ? Is GGG making their economical status public ? Do you know what is the cost of the actual server infrastucture they are using ? NO.

By the way, GGG has investors already. They sold a game license to GArena in Asia. And not only this, but many other things on the background YOU DON´T KNOW. By the way did you asked yourself why the game is based all around New Zealand culture/ history and why they didn´t move out yet, even having such titanic problems to find skilled people ? Goverment money anyone ?

Do you think that after this kind of move, they still are on the indie game studio cathegory ? Do you actually think they are making like 500 bucks a week or something ? LOL

Of course they won´t miss me, and I said why already. Because I made my way on this game enough time to be hooked and spend money on MTX, as much as you do with any commercial paid game when you buy it.

This business model is actually the future of gaming, and it´s to me much more profitable than the traditional game business. By making it F2P ( lol ) you have two things directly supporting you to start with :

1- You eliminate the first obstacle for someone to purchase your product: money. That barrier ceases to exist and the user is already using your product. You are letting the user try it because you know that if the user likes it, the user WILL BUY IT. It has similarities with the old shareware concept, but it´s much better.

2- You HAVE AN EXCUSE !!!!!!! This is such an amazing, really great property of this model ! You say your product is free to play, so hey .... don´t ask too much ok ? I am going to bullshit you from time to time with some data, some numbers and some BLABLA as an excuse, and you will just suck it, because .... IT´s FREE TO PLAY, YOU SIMPLE MORTAL ! How the hell are you complaining ? You should just be worshipping me constantly and don´t forget to throw some money here from time to time. Definitelly a really strong, actually the strongest point of this model.

Edit with some extra info regarding this :

One of the things that kept me believing desync was justified was because at some point, someone published on the forums an excuse that many people fences when they want to defend the mess. That data said that when designing the game, GGG decided to code the netcode on a way that cheating would be impossible ( aka using bots ). Well. That is some bullshit too. There are tons of bot software already that people use on this game, and every patch GGG changes code so they render the bots unusable .... for two weeks ( just like in D2 ) After that the coders of the bots find their way to recode the software so it works again. This is happening, dudes ! Feeding the RMT market and destroying the economy ! I have met already about five people that have confessed to me they bought their Shavs with a credit card.

What do you have to say about this ? What is the next excuse to defend desync ?

Actually they will probably be happy of me leaving, because I threw my money in to their project and I would stop using their servers. That would mean I gave money to them and I will stop spending network traffic off their infrastructures, GOOD BUSINESS ISN´T IT !?

About the loling for dying on softcore ... I only played twice on the hardcore ladder in D2, but to be honest one of the things that I also found really attractive of PoE is the fact that a permaleague existed. Because this way you can just play when you want without fearing on the ladder ending. I don´t know why you find it so funny, as if it´s not reason enough to be pissed off when you are past level 90 and you die for free, withot you being able to control it, being hardcore league or standard. That is no valid argument to me to justify the mess.

So... how come I don't die when I get desynced?

99% of the time a desync death is preventable by recognizing when it's happening and knowing what to do to stay alive.

I don't like to throw out the 'N' word, but it seems pretty noobish to die so often to desync. Just because it happens doesn't mean it has to be fatal.

Spend less time raging on the forums and more time learning how to play.

Yeah you are inmune to desync. I have heard the same shit thousand times, don´t be a repeat parrot please. I am basically tired of the blinded fanboys saying that you have to learn how to cope with a bad designed code.

1. Path of Exile is free to play, period.
If you choose to buy MTX then you choose to spend money. You don't have to. Understand that it's your choice.

2. Desync sucks but it happens.
You know it's going to happen from time to time, more for some builds than others. Recognize that you are choosing to play a game with desync that might kill your character.

3. Stop complaining about your choices.
If you feel strongly about desync, go join everyone else in the suggestion and Game Play Mechanics forums.
