40% Vendor Recipe
Reference number is #4290873846 (or in the third screenshot).

![]() ![]() ![]() The vendor recipe that I'm attempting to do is 40% = Glassblower's Bauble (or whatever currency you are trying to get back). The rules are: - A single normal item (not magic, etc) of that category with 20% quality. - Items of that category with a total of at least 40% quality. I have 5 flasks that give 19% quality on it which gives me a total of 95%. With 95%, I should be getting 2 because of 80%. However in the screenshot I'm only getting 1. Why am I only receiving 1 and not 2? Am I missing something or reading it wrong? This thread has been automatically archived. Replies are disabled.

The recipe is 1 bauble for a combination of 40% or more, not 2 baubles for a combination of 80% or more.
Your 40% recipe requires 3 of your 19% flasks, totaling 57%. The 17% that goes over 40% is wasted in the process and cannot be used towards the next recipe. You can't "split" your flasks to be used in multiple recipes. |

That makes sense as to why it doesn't give me 2 Glassblower's Bauble's.
Perhaps a re-wording of the second rule would help this situation? |

umm, for me it always worked like op described, you put in flasks at an overall quality of at least 80% and it gives you 2 baubles.
although the bauble recipe breaks if the "3 flasks of a kind" recipe applies which obviously isn't the case here. either op isn't right in the quality descriptions of the flasks used or ggg broke something. age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!

" It works if they match exactly 40% per recipe (assuming exactly 80% total), for example 15+15+6+6+19+19. Change that to 15+15+7+5+19+19 and it will not work. Last edited by Ezhiel#3677 on Jun 10, 2014, 6:42:28 AM

"Reword it how? It already says items totaling 40% and nothing about 80%. Would you want to add a line "Not valid with any other offers"? Guild Leader The Amazon Basin <BASIN>

" "A Set of items of that category with a total of at least 40% quality (Excess Quality per set is discarded)" Re-word it to something like this? sorry, it still works for me like op described it should work. flasks in the image are totaling 86% quality and it gives exactly 2 baubles.
i can continue that for selling a whole trading tab full of baubles and it will give me the right amount of baubles + some scroll fragments for the rest of the quality. you just can't put 3 quality flasks of the same type in there because that recipe (3 flasks of the same type give one flask of the next higher type) is prioritized over the baubles recipe. my guess is: not all of the 5 flasks the op put in had 19% quality. otherwise it's a bug. " both of your examples sum up to 80% quality and should both give 2 baubles. am i understanding something wrong? my english isn't the best :) age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill! "Can you post screenshots and link the flasks? Because if it is working like you say, then that is a bug. You can get 2 baubles if you get 2 sums of 40, but not 1 sum of 80 if it can't be divided into 2 sums of 40. Guild Leader The Amazon Basin <BASIN>

" They need to sum up to 40% individually, otherwise it will not work. 15+19+6 = 40, so the first example has two sets that both equal 40%. 15+7+19 = 41, but 15+5+19 = 39; the second example has only one set worth 40% or more. |
