[2.2] Culler-support. Now also budget! - Full MF | 12.6kES | 7 Auras + Guardian

FIRST!

Yes, I said it. First to see the new update and post, first I tell you!

Edit: Started the 14 page too! Yeah baby!

Edit: Now that I got that out of my system, interesting read, after I get my gear farmer up or after I respec in the newest league, I'm gonna make someone my sugar daddy/mamma. I'll go see all the maps, go to all the places, and they'll give me gear for keeping them alive.

Well, I wanted to announce the update, but seems I am a bit late :P

I can't make the images work on 1st post, as they are too large. But here there is a bar at the bottom, DOES SOMEONE KNOW WHY?

Preview of each subclass

Passive tree efficiency (gosh, I just realised I wrote it with one f everywhere...)

Flat es equivalent modifier

Edit: forgot to answer

Heyo!

I've been looking into playing a support for a while now, and now with Ascendancy I thought I'd try it as a Guardian in the Perandus HC league.
Now, your build looks very interesting - I'd only ask if you think substituting flame totem for some other spell is viable (I really, really dislike flame totem >.<)? Maybe the new frostbomb/orb of storms?

Everything is "viable". But flame totem is the best culling spell, and there isn't any of the current skills that goes close to it.
But if you dislike it so much, you can also use other spells (for example, there was a time I got tired of seeing too many red, and I played spark for 2-3 days).

Once the new skills are out, I'll test them out :)

Second this. I'm very curious on the best route to the right side of the tree.
*Cough*

Edit: Was corrected, nothing to look at here!

This afternoon I realised yesterday I missed a slightly better path by skipping light of divinity.

There are small inconsistencies with the calculations in the images, but nothing too big. I'll re-update when patch hits live, just in case there is some last-minute changes.

1- I was lazy to get lvl 70 (lvl requirement of lvl 20 gems) and 99% of my poe friends will be in temp league or pubbing. So, someone who can carry me from 65 to 70 in under an hour is welcomed.

2- The minor tree upgrade for templar I talked in the previous message results in ~0.4 more passive tree eficiency, which results in 60 es lategame (after all modifiers are included).

3- No idea if this means something, but it's scaring the fuck out of me.

4- Parallel to 3, scion guardian subclass has been nerfed. If this is permanent scion isn't good.

Hello can u remake the pasive tree? i can not see it...thx :)
Since I think templar is number one, I don't know if I should post the build in templar section and just sent the link from here. This witch thread has some history I don't want to disappear though :/

Some trees

Core tree (lvl 65) (templar)
This let's you run the build at 95% culling and 100% supporting capacity, but is lacking in defences.
If you are starting a character instead of using a free reset, you might want to take some energy shield nodes before finishing the core tree. Decide according to your gear and playstyle.

Endgame tree (lvl 94) (templar)
Same as core tree, but with flask and energy shield nodes.

For higher levels or witch versions, you should pick the remaining of the scion ES wheel and some jewels.

Did labyrinth in normal. Died once to traps with 6k energy shield. Did it again, and I could afk at boss, so he has no scaling.

This damned %max hp + es damage is so annoying when you are an ES char (so you can't use instant potions).

So far, the only things I've seen that are /think they can be useful is:

1- Regen. Vitality is the most important aura now.

2- Mobility spells with low cast time.

3- If you have levelled as life-based, keep like that until have finished merci ascendancy. Insta-pots are amazing.

4-If you levelled as ES, don't get bloodmagic until you have finished merci ascendancy. having some hp you can pot for is still useful.

5- Traps are physical damage, so it's damage should be able to be reduced/blocked. This is just a guess, could someone test whether it works or not?, it would be really useful to now. If that were the case, you can bring armour, chaos golem, granite flask, %chance to block, endurance charges, immortal call.

Any other observations in regards to making it easier are welcomed
.

Edit: seems 6k armour reduced the dmg I took from spike traps by around 25%
