If you want the game to wait 10 seconds before it lets you log out, consider that you will also have to survive for 10 seconds while being incapable of doing anything in case of a big lag spike.

It's already 6 seconds for lag/disconnects. Should be the same for logouts/alt-f4/etc.

Chris has already stated that he doesn't care that players alt-f4 or logout to avoid a HC death.

Plus alt-f4ing in hardcore is one of the worst things you can do because you don't logout instantly. The only way to logout instantly is to hit escape and click logout.

I think it should stay the way it is, especially for now because of all the server lag/desync/DC's/etc. It's kind of a get out of jail free card for now.
No tears. Only dreams now.
While beta instant disconnect is more than normal, after it - yes, vote for delay like 6-10 sec.
It is pretty obvious it is intended since its still in the game.
im using alt+f4 logouts. if you dont want to use it - just dont use it and be proud about it.

LOL, everyone is so "hardcore" about loot being FFA, game being not newb friendly , and then protect and claim its a feature when talking about the most CASUAL and NOOB way of playing hardcore...

About to die? ALTF4.

Keep thinking you are hardcore ppl, alt+f4 should go into a disconnect timer like it does in D3. It's the proper way.

Plz remove alt f4. It should be seen as a exploit.
example Kripp have saved himself with it over and over. And many others.

make it 5 - 10 seconds delay before you leave game.

Play like men keke

You must not play HC, or ever used shield charge and glitched and not been able to attack or move and only stand there.

Many people in this forum brag about being so incredibly hardcore and bash "casuals", how about making the game actually hardcore then?
-> No Alt-F4 and dieing in HC ladder deletes the character.
Are you kids honestly complaining about a shortcut to close an active application?

Is this the first time you've played a video game? Or used a computer, for that matter?
Is there a difference between alt f4 and escape+exit from a log-out time pov?
