Your League ideas

Solo league wud be nice.
You wud still have pvp and trading enable, but no parties allowed on this one.

I used search, and dint find anything suggesting to this kind of league.

not sure if anyone posted anything like this but..

If you can make this work... A league with a race to kill a certain boss, either alone or with a group.

The winner of that league would then get an item based on (named after) the boss that was the purpose of the league. I dont know any bosses in this game but lets name one "spider queen".

So an item reward could be like "spider queen's webbed gloves"

Obviously the reward for the league can be just something more general but either way would be sweet.

It would be fun to see short duration leagues like maybe 30-60 min. As one created their character they could choose a short duration league such as an "ironman". After the contest the league would be merged into a perm league based on the settings (Hardcore.. ect). That would encourage new characters with a sweet kick-off event.
I'd like to see some sort of hardcore, cut throat style mode with a kill limit attrition modifyer.

I see it could work two different ways. Everyone levels up normally but after a set amount of time initially everyone would be pvp enabled. Each player would then have to get 1 kill to make themselfs safe again. Those that die of course would be out of the league. If you don't manage to get a pvp kill in a certain amount of time your character is expelled from the league.

The system would run on global timers so you would have an intial level and loot finding period followed by a period of pvp. Then after the pvp timer runs out and people are expelled you have a set time to level and loot again before the pvp timer kicks in and you are forced to go on the hunt and get a kill.

This system would force players to engage in pvp in a kill or be killed system. The league could then be ended after a set amount of these killing/cooling off periods or when only one person is left standing in the league.

The timings have been left out as I'm unsure what would work best for balance(don't know have fast you level up and gain loot etc), but as an example. Everyone has 3 days to level up and gain loot before the first pvp period. This would then last 24 hours giving everyone a chance to get in the game and get a kill. You would then have 24 hours of saftey start, then 24 hours pvp etc.

Those that kill early will be safe from the pvp and have extra hours of being able to level up and gain loot while those that haven't will have to hunt and kill.


Now I can't remember the second mode I had in mind, but will post it when I do.

Well its not the mode I was intially thinking of but I've just come up with another I think people may find intresting. Class wars.

Using a timer system again to intiate safe and pvp periods much like the above mode example, at each pvp period the classes would be randomly split into two groups. So you would end up with maurader and ranger vs witch and duelist across the entire league. If there is a 6th unannouced class they could be split evenly 3 classes vs 3 classes if not one class would sit out a round of pvp.

During the pvp period you would only be able to enter dueling servers that have no monsters. The groups of classes would then work together to try taking out their current rivals. The round of pvp would end when a global overall kill limit was reached between the two sides.

After the first pvp round, safety and leveling would commence again followed by another random grouping of the classes and a new round of pvp. So now maurader and duelist are together vs witch and templar. Again everyone would be locked out of pve until the global kill limit was reached. Those that die would be expelled from the league.

This would then continue until a single class is left alive. So while your grouped you will want to protect your class over the others on your team, but to progress the league the kill counter must be filled so people would have to fight.

For each round you could then work only within your class or group with your other teams class(es) to add versitility to your team vs the enemy.

league are ok but the best is pvp arene or

I personally think that the Cut-throat league with hardcore should count the kills you have done and reward something when having enough of them. For example ten kills would give some kind of title (if titles are even in), item or item dyes (if these are in too). The ladder would also show the killcount of all players. This would show who to really fear.
Does anyone remember Titan quest and the Uber mod released over there? That made it insanely hard but insanely fun? Bosses spawning in groups of 6, mob density out the yingyang, champs etc spawning often. It would by no means be some casual cakewalk, but dang was that fun.

I'd love to see a way to incorporate that into a league here.
I never have a chance of getting up to the top of a ladder ranking, because of my lack of time. other players have more time to spent in the game an get first ranked. i dislike this circumstance, because i also want a place of fame for my gameskill. it's a competitive game, i mean we all want to be better than the rest. why not give everyone a chance to be one of the best, even if they don't play 24/7.

I would like a league, where your ranking depends on progress per played time. in this way e.g. i, who doesn't have too much time, would still have a realistic chance to get up in the ladder.
to kill abusers, who level up very fast for a short amount of time and then cut playing, i would suggest to slightly but steadyly decrease their ranking points in this league, if they weren't active for 10 days or such.
Instead of hardcore, their could be a "semi-hardcore" league in which there is a resurrection timer at a certain period of the day. So basically you are allowed to die once per day. A resurrection period could take place at a set time (4:00 am, or whatever).
