edit--I didn't look too closely at the math in your post, but did you multiply the effect Dying Breath has? It says increased, but when you have an increased modifier on the player and an increased modifier on an enemy, they are actually multiplicative (hence why shock stacks give "increased damage taken" but people treat them as multiplicative).

I think you meant to say "actually additive."
Increased - additive.
More - multiplicative.

Edit: or am I wrong here? It's confusing the way you worded it.
Yes you are, and at the same time no you are not :)
Monster modifiers and player modifiers are multiplied because monsters and players are separate entities so even the word "increased"="additive", but it is for each entity alone. When we look at the system of entities, this becomes somewhat more complex.

Small example:
-base dmg=1000
-player have 2 "increased damage" modifiers: 10% and 20%
-monster have one "takes increased damage" modifier of 50%
Player;s damage is 1000*(100%+10%+20%)=1300 - here "increased" are just added to one another.
But then player's damage is applied to monster, and only when it is applied, monster's modifiers start working...
Damage taken by monster = 1300*(100%+50%) = 1950.
And worst change is putting almost all bosses in new version of maps into fucking small areas, where you can't kite well or dodge stuff. What a terrible idiot invented that I want say to him: dude flick you, seriously flick you very much.
