Garena is adding skill tree resets as a micro transaction in 1.1.3. Thoughts?

"Market". I hate this word so much. It is only a metric to how much a population have accepted to get screwed. Games, like any arts, should be made for humans and not "markets".

Yeah, but when you have to feed 50 or so people, you have to cater to the market :P

Hope they start catering the large western P2W crowd that exists with a seperate PoE version then for NA/EU.

(Yes it is huuuuge, that's why Maplestory turned out so well :))

Since you have to rebuild your whole build every time, you meanwhile very likely lose the ability points necessary to wear your gear, thus completely fucking up your snapshotting.

Astramentis very much helps you out with that :). (and yes switch out astramentis for another necklace once snapshot and respec is done)

The starting attribute points are (depending on class): 14/14/32 (pure), 14/23/23 (hybrid), or 20/20/20 (scion). With a perfectly rolled Astramentis (+116 to all attributes), in the best possible case you'd end up with 148 in one attribute, and 130 in the other two.

Level 20 Vitality: Strength 151.
Level 20 Grace: Dexterity 153.
Level 20 Haste: Dexterity 153.
Level 20 Discipline: Intelligence 153.
Level 20 Wrath: Intelligence 153.

Even then you still need points elsewhere (especially for auras not based on your primary stat), and with an average Astramentis (+103) you'd need even more from other slots.

Wake up, Chris has just said that paying for free regret orbs effects was not that horrible! What about paying for exalting items who become non tradable afterwards?

You fail completely at understanding the difference between a consumable that creates no value outside of one single character, and a permanent item which can still be used by several characters [on the same account]. Your comparison is bad and you should feel bad.
Fun fact: I had my very first person recognize my PoE hoody today, and in a Doctor's office of all places.

His first question was "So I hear that game is way better than D3?"

I said "Absolutely".

He was a DOTA player with a funny haircut.

Oh, and while we're on the topic of Pay2Win: any pack that allows someone to create a unique item is also Pay2Win by definition.

That single player has exclusive knowledge of upcoming content, and can make appropriate trading decisions to cash in on his unique item finally being added to the game (buying certain skill gems that will be highly sought after to use with the unique item, buying gear with certain stats that will be very desirable in combination with the unique item, and so on).

Where's your outcry in that regard?

Okay for the sake of the argument lets say this MTX creates no value. Could you agree that it at least safes time or currency in a game that time and currency are essential ? And therefore its indirectly creates a time or currency adtvantage.

Good then that you can get a lot of stats from rings and belts.

Let me see if i understand this correctly.

It's ok for Path of Exile Garena to be pay-to-win.
It's not ok for Path of Exile not-Garena to be pay-to-win.

Interesting...

Sorry again but... STOP your robotic copy/paste.

Thanks!!!
Bethesda is known for having good ideas and terrible realization of them. GGG is a Bethesda subsidiary or what?

They will stop when people stop repeatedly breaking the same forum rules.

Which is probably never.

If you want to adjust your passive build during gameplay, there are Passive Skill Refund points available from quests or relatively rare items in the game that can be found or traded for. Fixing mistakes with a character build or improving small-medium sized aspects is relatively easy, but our intention is that players who want to try substantially divergent character builds are encouraged to play a new character through the game, organically leveling it up rather than just respeccing into it.

So I've pointed out before how contradictory this statement is with the ease of WTB 50 regrets in the shopping model this game is.

This microtransaction isn't something that I would choose to add to our servers, but it's certainly not game-breakingly harmful.

Well your game page is full of shit, or you are.

Agreed.
