That pretty much sums it up. I'm moving to a plan of "sucking it up and buying" the critical lvl21s, the rest can take their time and I'll get them through Vaaling eventually.




Edit: Heck I counted up my stats - the only positive outcomes I've hit myself are 2 of the lvl21 Reduced Mana gems. Out of 26 tries, those are the only 2 positive outcomes :/

My first 9 vaal attempts on 20/20 yielded 5 21/20 gems, so at the time i thought it was no big deal.

And then i kept going.And going.And going....and besides a few 20/23 gems...nothing.

Wrath went from 20 to 19 and nothing happened to grace or hatred

Updated OP with my 2 Disciplines. One had no change, the other became a lvl 20 Vaal Discipline. (which heck, might even be of use at some point. Not a terrible outcome, just not the one I was looking for :S)

Finally!! After a streak of about 25 or so no change gems or outright failures finally hit a nice 21/20, on a pretty rare gem to boot.

I acquired some more 21s tonight myself but they were all bought. (from guild members... big thanks to them for the discounted prices :D)







Still lvling/looking for lvl21 Discipline.

Also get a lvl21 Hatred at some point (in case I ever end up putting it in a +1 gems piece of gear or snapshotting it with empower or something crazy)


and eventually.... a lvl4 Enhance. (ooooh man...)


Also still working on upgraded versions of everything in my ST 6l, and +quality version of Blood Rage. (goes with that sexy Enhance I hope to have someday)

But at least my auras are nearly done finally. Lvl21 gems are a heck of a feat to acquire all the ones you need :O

Still no 21 anger/wrath. At this point I have corrupted a combined 12+ of those gems. I can see why their price is now 8+ exa.
