Friend had twins at 24 weeks, way to early. Both boys are fighting and still alive after 24 hours. Both have level 2 brain bleeds.
Although not the norm for offtopic, I figure it doesn't hurt to ask for your religion of choice or positive thoughts for them, the nurses/doctors taking care of them and the family. Babies are still alive and doing reasonably well for 24 week birth. Baby 1 is taking breast milk drops and keeping it down. Baby 2 is still taking blood infusions but looks like maybe those will trickle off soon.

Well I was born at 21 weeks in the 80s and survived without any issues. Had to spend a long time in an incubater and had a couple of ops but nothing too major. The babies should be fine.

The missus just had a baby 3weeks ago and the thing that struck me was just how professional all the midwives and nursing staff were. Best wishes. "Withdrawing in disgust is not the same as apathy"
