Hello, Thank you for your guide, it is very helpful. Currently, I am trying to use this build on Beyond.And I wanted to play around chaos damage. I want to use added chaos damage and dual wield Apep's rage. In this case I built a tree that focus on projectile damage and spell damage.

I want to take IR,MOM, EB and Grace as damage mitagation. And I want to use a crafted chest piece with +1 lvl of gem (corrupted) as a final goal.This skill tree is still in development. Could you please give me your opinion on chaos damage, apep's rage and improvement of the tree.
And should I try to take the - cost of skill nodes to counter draw back of apep's rage? Thank you

Ah, you started as a Scion? I would try something like this, then:



Chaos damage is great since it doesn't reflect back at you, but since this build doesn't have much of an issue with reflect and since you can get nice damage without chaos, I don't think duel-wielding Apep's Rage is the best idea. Plus the mana drawback isn't ideal, you'll be missing out on a shield for defenses (which is important in Beyond), and you really want to get a wand with projectile speed on it so that EK has a decent reach.

Sorry, a bit new to the game but I have a question. If I'm going the IR version, what sort of armor should I be using? Since IR works best with evade/armor pieces, but this build needs the energy shield pieces to support AA.

No reason to be sorry :) With IR, you ideally want gear with Evasion + Energy Shield or just Evasion. The reason for this is that Evasion will get buffed through nodes like Revenge of the Hunted or Reflexes (depending on which way you go to reach IR), and when Evasion is buffed, you get more Armour than pure Armour gear would give you. A little weird, but it's one of the benefits of IR.

With that said, IR allows you to equip pretty much whatever you want as long as there's enough mana/mana regen/energy shield to run Arctic Armour.

Now at level 92 with lvl 21 EK!

I finally switched away from Cloak of Defiance and now I'm wearing an Evasion/Energy Shield chest so I can use a Herald gem for more dps. Unlike in Cantrip's Acrobatics build, I can't bring myself to let go of the Life Leech gem. With Life Leech, I don't have to worry so much about potions, and I don't have to rely on Warlord's Mark, which doesn't always work (darn you, enemy curse immunity). This decision costs me ~5k dps, but at this point, where I can't afford to die, it's worth it. Besides, my 25.5k dps is not bad at all.

Cloak of Defiance is still the way to go for supreme tankiness. A 6L Cloak with Life Leech (instead of Empower) and Mana Leech (instead of Faster Projectiles) is simply awesome, and you don't need a ton of life to feel very solid. I'm finally at a point where I feel solid with or without Cloak, so now it's time for a new chest and more dps.

Very close to your build but I'm debating between Herald of Ice and the curse setup or to go with the power charge setup from Ziggy's softcore EK build. I'll be playing Beyond so I'm leaning towards a safer and easier set up of just flat cold damage, but I just love crit :)

Also, a question - how effective is Acro/EB while using a Lightning Coil? YOu miss out on a lot of ES from your chest, so I'm a little worried about supporting the mana for auras.

The build looks good to me. The only thing is that if you're in Beyond, your life is going to be a little low. Take Quick Recovery if you can. Maybe drop Dreamer for that once you have some decent gear, but you might need all the mana you can get.

It's doable. Cantrtip uses a Tabula Rasa in his build, which has less mana than mine, and still manages to run a lvl 20 AA. I don't know if he can go any higher than lvl 20, though, and I doubt he can run Herald of Ice with any supporting gems (like Increased Area of Effect, if you're into that). So it can be done, but it's not easy. Using AA with Acrobatics is fairly gear-dependent.

Might keep fiddling with the build, it's too bad that Ondars is so far away. Hmmm... what to give up to grab it...
