Cut-Throat, Event 10: 48 Hour Cut-Throat

Next league ideas:

-Cutthroat exiles everywhere, reduce normal mob numbers and packsize
-Portal at twilight strand that no one can invade since it's level 1 and would be used to regear with basic stuff.
-Can't walk to forest from encampment in act 2 - similar to twilight strand in act 1
-Vendor items refresh after each death or each hour
-Ability to change gateways at instance selection screen
-Cannot be frozen when chilled, after being frozen, character is chilled for 3 seconds
-Traps thrown ontop of each other or too close to each other destroy previously laid traps, or set off traps if they aren't your own
-Traps can be destroyed with AoE skills
-Increase scroll of wisdom droprate

There is no way that you can see somebody coming if he uses no skills to close in and especially in late game it should be quiet hard to escape after the short lag.


Its not so hard to predict somebody is coming, not necessary cheating.
Once I logouted because I believe I heard steps. Playing with max volume, regular stopping and listening.

Fun I guess, though there is a serious lack of players. At one point we was able to get all of the top 3 online players togather in one instance, over a 20 level gap between high and low.

Also, you cant invade players in maps, you can only invade a instance if they are in that instance, and being in a map is separate then in the eternal lab, so if they don't invade you while your in the lab, then you pretty much cant be invaded in the map.

Bear Trap surely needs a pvp rebalance. Don't know for sure about other traps, because can't catch someone who uses them. Trap/Mine supports are just fine since they just multiply damage of the skill due to lack of free using - they are not devastating by themselves.

It's possible to sneak without many indicators. But if you are like 2 screens away and you hear a TP popping up this has nothing to do with prediction.

I have seen far better legit evaders, like people switching realms between instances so you will invade one and not see the next or players not leaving corpses behind so you are forced to make sounds.

But somebody leading the way like:"Hey look here are many corpses" in a really noisy area is certainly not that kind.
And the state the corpses were in made it clear it was no trap build.

You can if you invaded the lab. That's the main problem. If you reach maps without anybody noticingyou are safe.
Players will just double check solaris and WP campers.

Depends on the AoE skill.
Reave or Cleave won't destroy traps. Leapslam and Cold Snap or other traps will destroy traps.

Trap/Remote Mine+Glacial Cascade+ Cold Penetration + Increased Critial Strikes/Damage/Conc Effect +Added Fire.
Hatred
Stack them and you will see they that this skill is overpowered as Beartrap.
Look for a victim in about the same level.
I can give you more examples.

Add PA and Dual Redbreaks.



please add more hard core cutthroat events to the season schedule. This will get more people to try pvp and hopefully like it.

Also please add some sort of reward system to the next long term cut throat test. It will allow for a more accurate prediction of a long term league as far as number of players goes.

That's 5L and gear requirement. While Bear Trap can be just linked with Added Fire to be OP already, that's 2L.
