A mechanical keyboard or a normal keyboard o_o
You won't get no glory on that side of the hole.

Mechanical keyboard. No question.
I'm using Cherry MX brown switches here as well. They're great for typing and gaming. For MOBAs and RTSs where APM is desirable, you might want reds instead, but those feel like mush when you're typing. http://www.overclock.net/t/491752/mechanical-keyboard-guide#post_6009482 or http://www.keyboardco.com/blog/index.php/2012/12/an-introduction-to-cherry-mx-mechanical-switches/ should have more than enough information for you to get started. | |

So you got a mechanical keyboard?
Trust me. Once you get used to the fact that you don't have to bottom out the keys to register, you'll start flying over the board... Yeah, the noise is the only problem, especially late at night or in a quiet office. I love my DAS Keyboard. For the longest time I was trying to get an old XT keyboard I found working, till I realized I would be giving up a lot of keys I have grown used to... The thing weighs like 7lbs and all the keys are painted metal. "We were going to monitor the situation but it was in the wrong aspect ratio." Last edited by Garr0t on Apr 9, 2014, 7:22:27 PM

Mechanical keyboards are way overrated if you ask me, they aren't smooth enough.
A good keyboard is like pulling strings in a spiders web - slightest touch passes directly through, mechanical keyboards are blunt instruments in my experience. I was very disappointed when i got one, not using it anymore either. Maybe some different types would work better but doubt it. Noise blows too. "I agree completely. That's why I find mechanical superior to membrane. Once you are familiar with the depth/pressure required to actuate the switch on a mechanical keyboard, that's when they really start to shine. That's when you can literally 'dance your fingers' across the keys with confidence that every action will be transmitted. It does take a while to get to this comfort level, and if you haven't selected the right switch set, you may not actually adjust to it because your natural preference isn't in alignment with what the switch is able to provide you. With a membrane keyboard, you have to depress the key the complete travel distance in order for the circuit to close and register a signal. With a mechanical, there are various options in terms of switch types, which vary the pressure/depth required, as well as what kind of tactical or audible feedback you want. The link provided by a fellow poster about the various cherry switches available may give you more context to what I am talking about. " Damn, my type, thanks mate, got to think about it. Be ready. You're not paranoid, you're PREPARED.
I quit this game every few months and so should you to continue playing it in the future. The device is believed to have been dropped |
