FoxTactics "Lightning Ninja" Arc build 18k+ : No update for 1.2

1) Blood Magic + Grace
2) Discipline + Purity of Elements + Clarity + Reduced Mana
3) Arc + Fastercast + Lightning penetration + Empower + Life Leech
4) Spelltotem + Arc + Fastercast + Lightning penetration

Just made another life based build for Cloak of defiance:
(got a ton of respecs in standard anyway, so I'll just try if life or ES works better)

109 Points
167% life
313% total damage increase (spell, ele,...) - MOAR DEEEEPS (to compensate for arc nerf)
2% lighn pen
60% cast speed
15% shock + 50% duration
200% mana regen + EB

Edit: Would work for Ball Lightning too. Just add some AoE nodes from Templar and Witch tree (and take away some DPS and/or life nodes).

I like the little trip down to the scion life wheel. I think Im going to do the same, seems the only way to get the same amount of life I had before. I dont think Breath Of Lightning is worth it though, if shocks cant stack I wouldnt bother speccing into shock at all, arc single stacks constantly without it.

this is what Im looking at atm. Right now with a current lvl21 arc I have

5,090 life
4168 mana
16,700 dps arc

thats in a 6 link with arc, faster c, echo, lightning pen, empower, ele prolif. I dont think ele prolif is worth it if shocks cant stack so Im swapping it for added lightning. With the new tree, according to builder, Ill be at

5,093 life
5655 mana
19,555 dps arc

Note, because arc is being nerfed by almost 2 levels im checking that with a lvl19 arc rather than my lvl21. With a current lvl21 the dps is showing 22,793. So the 19,555 quoted is probably slightly lower than the post nerf lvl21 gem, presuming builders math is solid, which I wouldnt bet on as some nodes on the tree dont seem to be registering in the stat breakdown, like mana regen and ele resist with shields.

What do you guys think about the %5 crit chance in the light. spells buff?

is this build still recommended for starting in a new league since arc and shock will being nerfed?

You get a lot of HP/mana/mana regen and of course damage. I dont go for Harrier or the ES node in the middle because you spend to many point to get to the other side for pretty much no benefit.
