Ello Mate. I was wondering could you update your Skill Tree.. Each one has 1-3 skills check and thats all.

Im trying this build out and i have all the items needed :-)
So guys, I started this build few days ago and Im really surprised how OP it is. I made a couple of inovations in this build. First of all I switched to blood rage with 3 basic frenzfy charges and mings heart. My HP is something about 4300 and i have constantly 12% Phys leech from BR. So now i have 12% leech from BR, block and spell block and ybout 23k dps with soul taker, it can be easy up to 25k+ with better 1 hand axe. Btw you absoluttly dont need Soul taker but i dont have anything better now. Cheers

Did you calc the effective hp? Life regen and life leech work better with high armour, because every life point gained is worth more effective hp. You see, with my suggestions we would get 2% life regen and 20% increased armour, besides some other minor improvements.
I am also going to use Reckoning + Vengeance + Endurance Charge on Melee Stun + Melee Physical Damage in a 4L. It profits greatly from high block chance. If I need more survivability, I will swap MPD for Life Leech.

Do you think http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Dusktoe could be useful, so you don't need the extra chaos resistance from the passive tree? I will try it, when I have enough overall defense.

You can calculate that precisely.

If your base fire dmg is 1000, with Celestial Judgment, you get 32% inc. ele dmg + 2% fire res pen. You then do 1320 fire dmg. Let's say the monster has 45% fire resistance. With 2% fire res pen, it has 43%, which means it will take 1320 x 0.43 = 567,6 reduced damage, i.e. it will take 1320 - 567,6 which is 752,4 fire dmg.

If you take Arsonist instead, you do 40% inc. fire dmg, which means 1400. With 45% monster fire resistance, you do 1400 * 0.45 = 630; 1400 - 630 = 770 damage.

Therefore, in most cases, you are right. You will do slightly more damage taking Arsonist instead of Celestial Judgement. The only cases where that isn't so is either mobs with a lot higher fire resistance (which is rare) or with 0 fire resistance, where they will take 2% more damage because of fire resistance penetration, but that increase is negligible.

If you add the 1% life regen to that, Arsonist is definitely better. I will change the tree accordingly.

I did go for it in the end. I wasn't playing poe for the last month, I just got to building this char since the new patch now.

I also decided it's better to go for maces because we can use Doryani's sceptre, which can have 300+ dps, 100% inc. ele dmg AND 1% ele dmg life leech.

Actually, I might have been wrong with Arsonist. I forgot that we use Hatred, which is a significant amount of cold damage. Going for Celestial Judgement buffs BOTH our fire and our could damage. It's hard for me to tell which is better.

Just wanted to share what I used in Bloodlines league for leveling before switching to infernal. Of course I refunded ele resist nodes as soon as I managed cap resists on merc and Iron grip as soon as I managed to get 180 dps 1h cheap

after that change I just kept using defensive nodes as you recomended.

I was using Shiversting with spectral throw, addedd cold, lightning and fire dmg
together with elreon's -8 mana cost ring and amulet with +int and dex

At 19 changed to LMP instead of cold dmg, and just updated high phys dmg 2h uniques (Quecholli, Rigvald's) then when I was feeling that I'm not tanky enough just swaped life gain on hit instead of added fire, and addedd faster attacks.

Also used double strike with gems for infernal for single target
(excluding elemental dmg and instead of melee splash added another life gain on hit)
Clear speed was insane, and I felt alot safer using range for leveling.

I know it is not directly related to build, but just wanted to share how easy my leveling was with that few minor changes.
Yeah, there's a lot of possibilities with leveling. I leveled with Molten strike till around 50, since at early stages its a lot better skill than IB.



I made 1 minor change to the passive tree. Taking Skull Cracking instead of Lava Lash gives a lot more DPS for the same 3 skill points, so I changed that.
