[3.1] JUGGERNAUT/BERSERKER 1H+Shield Max Block&Spell Block Tank, Atziri Killer+a BoR version

New update: My Juggernaut had just cleared regular Atziri twice with ease.

How easy?

While, with Daresso's Batteringram gloves, I was able to facetank the lightning shocks of the Vessals of the Vaal, and I didn't use flasks at all.

Then with the Trio, I merely had to kill the titty bitch, make sure I don't stand on chaos damage, and then facetank the fire guy followed by the bleed guy. I just had to periodically drink from my staunching healing flask. And the aoe from my EQ refills the flasks.

With Atziri, I am surprised to find that I can facetank the split phase, as long as I target the spear version and occasionally flask heal.

And the invincible phase is not a problem with EQ.

All in all, this was a great build and I am very happy that I finally have something that can farm regular Atziri. Keep in mind that I play entirely self found, and you would realise how important it is that I finally have access to Atziri drops that many common builds need.

I started this build to safely kill Atziri. And I am happy to report it does that very well.
It indeed does, but I'm glad to hear you managed to do uber lab as well :)

Oh, I forgot to mention that my build doesn't use immortal call at all, as I rely on the full endurance charges for both defence and offence.

Instead, I use my helm sockets for Ancestral Warchief.

(The blue socket is for Concentrated Effect.)

The totem offers serious boost in dps and makes quite a difference.
hail OP, i have to ask, my dmg its low yet = 20k dps, why? look my itens and skills, what different way i need to follow to get 50k dps at least.....thanks for feedback, and grazt for ur tank build, its really good

Depends on what skill you're using, what gem level/quality you have, 5/6-link etc.

Really like your build and wanna start a character that can facetank just about anything.
I came across your build, and gladiator block build.
Can you tell me pro/con of being marauder block, and gladiator block?
Like which is better on what field stuff like that.

Well, the main differences are the ascendancies, since the passive trees are practically identical. Look at those and you can see for yourself. IMO, Gladiator is slightly more flexible since there's no need to use Stone of Lazwhar and Raonbowstrides and gets max block/spell block without them. Juggernaut gets some more armour, though, and the very nice max endurance charge generation, along with +1 endurance charge. It's your call, depending on what you want to play.

What about this build in new 2.4 patch?
Absolutely nothing will change, except that some skills that can be used and are listed in the build (Ice Crash, Infernal Blow) will now be slightly better, while Earthquake is slightly worse (but still very good overall).

Unrelenting now has a 25% chance to gain maximum charges on generating an endurance charge (rather than 100%)

Ice Crash's attack speed penalty is now 20% less (down from 25% less). Its secondary stage damage penalty is now 15% less (down from 20% less). Its third stage damage penalty is now 30% less (down from 40% less).

Earthquake's aftershock damage has been reduced from 60% more (at level 1, tapered upwards) to 50% more at all Levels. Its mana cost has been increased from 6 to 10. Its aftershock area of effect has been reduced by 12%.

I guess ggg considers nerf = balance. Too bad there is no differentiation between skills for 1h / 2h builds.
