Best game you ever played

- Deus Ex
- Baldur's Gate 2
- Deus Ex AND Baldur's Gate 2.

Just because these 2 are so far ahead of any other competition that they actually take the first 10 spots of my top ten. Best digital experiences of all time.

I think the best game ever for me was Light Crusader (Sega MegaDrive) when I was 13. Cute RPG game.

I like a lot Deus Ex: Human Revolution, one of the best game history. Baldur's Gate 2 is a great game too but I like Diablo II instead.

About FPS games... Unreal Tournament 2004 was the best for me.

Those 3 and FF6 define the entire series. Far exceeding the rubbish of FF13 and such. But I hated 8, much preferred 7 & 9, and to this day can't figure out why I don't like 8....still better than the others though :D

The best game I've ever played sorta has to be put into perspective here. You see, I have to cover the gamut of every game I've ever played, and when I played it during my life.
That said, the answer is surprising because not only is it not even close to the longest game, deepest game, or best looking game, however I think it sums up "video game" in many ways. It was one of the first games I ever played on PC, and it really kinda opened my eyes to how awesome video games would become in the future.
That game was Doom for the PC. It blew my absolute mind when I first played it and I can still play it today and have an absolute blast just as much as I did the first time I played it.
It is funny because nowadays I almost always prefer RPGs and the like, and even back then I did. However, as far as best "game" I have played, it would have to be Doom. We could probably lump Doom 2 in there also.

I can't stand that in conversations of "best final fantasy". Final Fantasy Tactics never comes up. It is in my opinion, the absolute best Final Fantasy game. The original on PSX that is.
Outside of that, I guess I'd go with Final Fantasy IV for SNES.
