Best game you ever played

Judging by the answers most users here are very young. I do miss the times when games were about cool idea and not awesome graphics. And I'm 29 now, started to play (with a little help of my father) on my ZX Spectrum when I was at age of 3. :)

I am not much for "lists". Most games are temperary fixes. I play for story. There very few games I can reply more then once. So I will give the game that had biggest impact on me as a kid.

Klonoa: Door to Phantomile for psx.

As a kid the ending had me seriously crying, very first game to make me cry. Felt like my heart was torn out. Even thinking about it today it till makes me a bit teary. So definitely the game with biggest impact on me.

Best game I've ever played: Legends of Kesmai

This game was the grandfather of all MMOs, and it was epic. The current version being run is being neglected to death by the developer, so it's not worth playing anymore, but it's definitely a special game.

hmmm i guess i play mostly free roam games idk i just love them soo much... The feel to explore and face different foes, gain reputation and get stronger. XD sorry got little carried away there ^^

I agree that the age of most of the users here is young, and this thread proves it.

I'd have to say the best game I ever played had to be one of the Final Fantasy games. I've narrowed it down to Final Fantasy 7 or Final Fantasy 10. Final Fantasy 3 was pretty badass, but it's been way too long since I last played it.

Planescape Torment nuff said ;D too bad they are not making games like this one nowdays.
