Thanks for all the orbs, gems and rares!

Hopefully one of these times you'll rage out and get typekilled hammering out "WTF THATS MINE" after you didn't bother to pick up your stuff, I think that would be hilarious.

Or alternatively, you could ask someone for it back the first time you get ninja'd and leave immediately if they dont comply. Or start grabbing their stuff whenever possible. Or try and lead them into a room with a necro champ, 'Enemies cannot die' totem and a bunch of spark mages and block their way back out.Or play with your friends and share drops. Or play solo.

Plenty of fun choices that don't involve GGG bending the game over so you can pick up your stuff easier.

How about you guys adapt to the game instead of insisting that it be adapted to you?

How about you being against an simple option in a game that is literaly bursting with all kinds of options ?
Would someone take the way you like to play out ? NO !
What do you have to lose ? Other than other peoples items i mean.

I cannot steal something from you that you do not own.

The fact that we don't own anything even though we all fought in the same party is just one of many reasons why this system is flawed.

Not flawed, you own what you pick up. There is ownership potential, you just gotta work for it, like everyone else.

Why should I not own what I fought for equally? Why are we even in a party if we're not supposed to work together? Why not get rid of parties altogether?

The problem is the current system doesn't benefit anyone. You always have people scrambling to get items over fighting targets which is a significant problem for ranged characters.

No. Stahp. There is no need for the system to change.

You cannot join a game that is designed a specific way, with people who enjoy the game because of it being that way, and say it has to change. This is NOT D3 or D2, it is PoE and it has a Semi-FFA loot system.

Looks at that. The very beginning of your speech and there is already a major problem. Apparently your under the assumption that people enjoy the game because of it being that way. That makes it sound like the people who aren't happy with the system are just a small portion of the population being loud about it. Thats obviously not even remotely true. There's far more discontent for this system. This system fails at getting people into public games and pushes the majority into single player or small parties. There are more than enough players unhappy with the system to reevaluate whether its worth having it only be this way or not.

Well said. I' m one of those players.

I'm pro CHOICE for allowing both options to be implemented.

I just steer clear of grouping till then.
I don't have time to read 29 pages, but do you honestly believe adding 2-3 seconds to the existing timer on drops would ruin the game?

This bit is my favorite though,

You have a lot of people who have donated to this game because they like it. Many donated because of the FFA loot system. How is it fair for them to donate to a cause such as this game and have a group of people come in and demand that the game they love be fundamentally changed to suit your wants?

This isn't a political campaign. lol Your voice is no more powerful than the thousands of untapped, unhappy potential consumers.

You're back! Apparently you didn't read up from where you left us.
You cannot take our items, because we don't play in public parties.

How come the markets will flood when everybodys getting that loot anyway, its just that ninjas pick up more and slower / fairer players pick up less. Its the same quantity that would be shared with a different loot option.

Im for options. Options are never bad. Basis of this game is to have options, considering playstyles, builds, itemizing. Why is this option so wrong then ?

There is no way to ninja or steal in this game.

lol what ? hello ostrich, didnt recognize you. tell me how it is with your head in the sand ?

if the purpose of your grouping with another player is to wait for their milisec timer with their name on it to expire so you could pick up their item or run before anybody else to open chests, dont get involved in fighting because whats the point when you get loot better simply standing around and looking at timers and what dropped what.. then we have a very different conception of what is enjoyable in a game.
and still, you and your ilk dont even want to give me the option to at least make the game more group friendly and fairer.

It appears we do. I guess I did have my head in the sand. I missed the part where I was now able to go into a game that have been in development for years, and then demand that things change for me, and then tell everyone they are terrible people for saying no.

Add a party option. Problem Solved.

Seriously it's that simple. In fact add 3 options.

1. FFA CUTTHROAT! NO TIMER. IT DROPS YOU GRAB GL!
2. Timer. Leave it exactly as it is.
3. Your Drops are Your Drops. If someone wants it you can CTRL click to unlock that loot on the ground. or make them pick it up and redrop it to unlock it.

There is literally NO arguement against this option besides this one.

I WANT YOU TO PLAY "MY" GAME THE WAY I "WANT" YOU TO PLAY IT!

Well, guess what. Fuck you. Everyone loves this game. It's Amazing, and it deserves a flourishing population of people new generation gamers and old generation gamers.

This game deserves to be played, now, and for years to come.

That WILL happen with or without this change, but it will absolutely not flourish to the potential it could and deserves to without this change.

I don't care how much you donated, I care how many years you played D2, I don't care how Pro/Hardcore/Anti-Carebear you are. That is YOUR problem. You shouldn't dictate how what seems to be a very large population of players want to enjoy themselves.

Get over it.

Make the change GGG, it's what is best for the game and what is best for the community.

Please don't regurgetate the same thing that has been said 10 times in this thread. We don't want to have to explain AGAIN why that won't work. If you need an answer I am sure it can be found stated earlier.

You THINK you have, because you ignore every argument thrown at you. Just look at your last few posts and tell me who's regurgitating what.

Oh was my answer to the same questions supposed to be different?
i would rather get a proper guild/permanent party finder system that gives us opportunities to take advantage of the FFA looting system, rather than making the system bend over backwards just for me to get my loot. I think we all need friends once in a while in a party to give us the best loot that we almost always never get for our own class. I pick up all the gold items i can get, giving them for free to all my friends. Not really expecting them to do the same though but they do. Doing good is the best way to survive.
