Personally I'm sick and tired of maps and I'm thankful for every reason to do other content. But corrupted areas need to be made more rewarding and midnight fragment needs to actually drop. Shop closed until further notice. Check out my Dominus musical tribute instead:

Yes, because running around riverways 100 times to find mystical river for the challenge is going to kill me.
Solution to the map technicality issue would be to have them drop as maps you put in the eternal lab, inherently corrupted so you can only do them as they drop. Could even be available for the whole level range. I don't think they should randomly spawn in maps but one of the possible outcomes of using a Vaal orb on a map should be that the map takes you to a corrupted zone version of that map.
