It's spell DODGE

not block.

So with the node behind acrobatics, that's 44% spell DODGE! (We don't know max roll but it's probably 20%... so roughly 50% spell DODGE).

OP.

Did somebody say DOGE!!!?!?!??

Such block. Many miss. Very spell.

Err, if you don't see anything wrong with boots having 15% spell dodge in addition to being pretty damn good to begin with, I don't know how to help you.

Those are ridiculous, straight up.

Exactly what I am thinking right now. Compare it with other BOOTS, not all other items.

1)They have balanced evasion to be as useful as armor. This boots has 600 EVASION??? You seldom see a rare boots with above 300 armor or evasion...

2)If you wear a saffle's frame for anti-spell, you lose quite a bit of dps for not being 2 handed and your physical defence gives away for carrying a shield with no physical block.

3)If I were any of the following types of players, viper strike ranger, archer ranger with already full resistance due to some resistance quiver, and lastly coc 1 hander with either an anti spell shield or anti physical shield. The only way to improve character significantly without trading off anything important such as damage or physical defense, is to wear this pair of boots.

This pair of boots is NOT OP, I never meant that. However, it s been designed in a way that it becomes a MUST HAVE item for evasion based characters because it improves them without ANY drawback. You do not lose bonus HP, movespeed, nor physical defence, but gains that extra spell dodge.
Some comments here about these boots are purely wrong.

Nefing these boots? Dafuq?

Why Kaoms got nerfed or Bor ? Because they were MANDATORY for every life/melee build!

These boots are restricted to evasion only chars, because you have to take acrobatics/phase acrobatics. (50% less ES/Armour)

In comparison to achieve 50% Spellblock (which is EHP wise the same) you have to take a rathpith + stone of lazwhar and 16% block, i.e. the 2 block nodes in templar tree. You loose 1 HP spot (SoL) and a bit on rath (but rath stats are extremly good with spelldmg, hp AND 250 ES) and have same EHP vs att/spell then with this boots + phase acro. And still full armour and ES. So ?

Nerfing something, which is totally restricted to Eva only AND phase acro is purely retarded.

Btw.: How hard is it really to get good EVA/HP and good MS roll nowadays with the recipes for MS ? Not this hard.
Welcome to the greatest of arenas, Duelist. God is watching you.

Those boots are very good with Phase Acrobatics. Getting Phase Acrobatics requires getting Acrobatics. Getting Acrobatics essentially means not getting Iron Reflexes. Not getting Iron Reflexes is a drawback. Therefore, boots have a drawback and are not OP.

Unless you want to make an argument that Acrobatics was OP pre-1.1. Good luck with that.

I do appreciate the Acrobatics stealth-buff and Iron Reflexes stealth-nerf, however. Nice design, 9/10.

So you sacrifice up to 45% resistance for 14-16% dodge, and this is OP? Are you fucking kidding me.

Eh, we can always assume the uber-geared have their resistances capped on other pieces of equipment. When there's a cap, you're not really losing the res, you're just forced to put it elsewhere.

Still not OP.

Not OP. Don't see any reason why those boots should be nerfed.

New Doryani's Invitation belt, however, will be. It's very powerful, no downside, no creativity behind it and obviously created by the "big number generator", something GGG used to know not to do.

Thing is, people tend to use helmets, gloves and chest pieces without any resistances when they aim for OP gear, so boots, belt and jewellery is all thats left in order to obtain cap. These boots would make people maybe have to sacrifice those Maligaro's or Abyssus in order to have enough resists.

If Spell Dodge so OP, then why no one plays evasion characters?
