doesn't seem to work with blues/uniques (and don't have a rare I can test it with atm) unless the recipe is slightly different which I think is the case because the 'prismatic eclipse' unique seems like it could use it, I don't think GGG expects you to roll the sockets and then chance/scour it

edit2: only seems to work with weapons, at least not with chests or helmets (didn't test other item types)
If this is true I do not understand the purpose of the recipe. Why would one pay the equivalent of a dozen exalts to get a white socket in a 3-link?
