I see a lot of ranger builds reaching up to the shock talents, but my main question is when you should prioritize them over health nodes along the way? Should it be the last thing on the list, or should it be semi-beelined to after Resolute Technique?

Wondering the exact same thing
Hey :) great guide just a quick question here:

With build 1.2 getting the Unwavering stance doesn't this mean that grace gets useless?

Thought about Hatred aura (cold dmg) instead

Cheers

I don´t think so, keep in mind that with this build you should take Iron Reflexes (Converts all evasion rating to armour)

can you make a detailed or at least general rundown of the build during levels?

like how should it look like at level 20, 30, 40, 50, etc?

It's a pretty nice tool for people adopting your build :)
What should I look for gear-wise while trying to execute this build?
Hello there, first of all thx for sharing this nice build, I just have some doubts:

Using so many life/defensive nodes, is the DPS not good enough at some point of the game?
I'm currently at level 18, just starting, playing ACT II and I feel like my DPS isn't good, take me a lots of time to kill some tanky rare/unique mobs, I'm just wondering if that's normal within that build or if it's my gear that is not good.

Thanks in advance!
I have a small question involving armor. You have 3 points in armor by the marauder nodes (15%, 10%, 18%+2% move speed) but I noticed next to unwavering stance there is a cluster of 'armor and evasion' points, each gives 8% evasion and armor. With Iron reflexes, wouldn't that end up being more armor in the long run? (10+15+18=33 < 16x3=48) I know it isn't much, but it seems like it would be more than enough to make up for the 2% move speed that you're missing out on. I'm not entirely sure about any of this, so if you find I have no idea what I'm talking about, I'm fine with that.

By the way, from what I can tell this build looks fairly interesting and will more than likely be what I use when I start doing some hardcore play. I really appreciate the time you've put into this and how you're sharing it with the community. It's people like you who make communities great.
@dhsa7, The dps will come from gear, that will be enough for endgame. The passives are meant to have you survive through endgame, and it really is worth it.

@Praeterius, I will look into this, I had someone mention to me yesterday something about armor nodes. I have a pretty rough cold now and my mind isn't working like it should, so I would prefer looking into it once I feel better :)

Very nice build :)

I've been busy with my necromancer and ice shadow up until now, and plan on working on a ranger using an adaption of your BM build and weaving in Critical Strike & Critical Damage.

If you wouldn't mind giving me your feedback Martin, I'd very appreciate it. Here's the link.
