(((Base mana * 0.0175) + (clarity * (1 + aura effect + buff effect))) * 1 + increased mana regeneration)

(((1670 * 0.0175) + (18.37 * (1+0.54) )) * 1 + 0.75+0.69+0.69+0.69) = 219.7

43 passive and frenzy charge + 5 glove = 48% increased attack speed.

+10% gmp

58% increased attack speed.

1.69*1.58 = 2.67 attacks per second.

68 mana per attack, 183 mana used per second.

Not 100% sure on this but yea. Mana leech also kicks in big time, capping at 208 extra mana per second.

Attack time 1/2.67 = 0.37 seconds.

49.95 mana regenerated within that time until next mana consumption (with degen calculated in).

141-68+50 = 123

123-68+50 = 105

105-68+50 = 87

87-68+50 = 69

69-68+50=51.

Can pull out 5 attacks before running out of mana.

Assuming mana is leeched from first attack, mana required to completely sustain perpetual attacking is 18/0.37 = 48.6 mana per second. That's about 23% of mana leech cap.

What's your idea? I can plug the values into a DPS calculator and compare the 2.

well first, if u really could fit 3x 50% auras and 3 heralds with just 2 mana nodes (that'd be great ofc) I'd prolly use just 1 Herald + Haste and get spell damage nodes on scion startup.
heralds got nerfed very hard so Haste gonna be more useful.
due to ur manareg/drain calculation I understand the need of high mana pool ofc, but where is the manaleech coming from?
and gonna use acuity I guess?

Everything fits. My boots will have 6% reduced mana reservation. From the tree i posted, it's level 98. Only requires 2 more points at level 100 to get the extra mana boost rom 1550~ to 1670~.

gonna check it later at home if I'm not too sleepy, but for now imo it seems like the mana drain fucks everything up and the dps gain with ur boots won't be high enough to compensate its high costs of quality of life. u need to leech mana again and almost all sockets are taken for enlightens and auras etc not much space for Vaal skills, cwdt or even a single target which could come out with low mana cost during low leech. the only way to keep the build at top level is having a very high base movement speed (haste) and frost wall triggering incredibly high burst dmg (coming from 2 additional heralds maybe instead of haste) hmm

I hope I am more pessimistic than right ofc, just having some doubts

Just some thoughts I typed out during a lecture. It's good to document ideas so I can see different iterations while I work on the final product.

Regardless, I could switch the 2 heralds for haste. The damage should be through the roof anyway. It's almost every single dps aura with the addition of a 5th dps link. Inc crit damage replaces pcoc.

that'd be awesome if generating power charges was granted by the boots

nevertheless I assume there is an optimization possible for both getting more DPS and more ES by not going max auras

if u want to make some calcutions, compare ur setup with this one:

+5 to 89 flat Lightning DMG (+4 levels to Wrath)
+54 flat ES (+4 levels to Discipline)
+26% ES (28% nodes -10 Int)

I think we dont need to put the values into a calculator, only thing that could screw that all up is Manareg, maybe -5% reduced Manacosts on 2 Jewels would help

Kinda surprised to see you not jump on the dual curse on hit dual herald 4 link train.



This effective 5 link is so much utility.

When slotted with CoH, the granted curse is treated as a linked gem, add Warlord's Mark and twin Heralds and we have a dual curse, dual Herald set up granting PCs, ECs, mana leech, life leech, mana on kill, (life on kill), crit chance, crit damage, stun... awesomesauce.
