Well, couple hints from this thread: title speaks of recipes (plural) - there is more than one variation of the recipe it boosts a quality aspect as its major effect. so much so that those in the know instantly can recognize thta in fact yes somone else knows about just by mentioning the word quality. someone who claims to know the recipe speaks of "the item" (singular) to get - there is one enabling item that is of importance that is not easy to get. This narrows the permutations to try and brute force the recipe. This doesn't mean there is only one item plus another one, it just means the limiting item is only one. I have been noticing incr. GCP trades as well. Casters have it rough, can't really do the recipe without losing a ton of DPS and time investment. Melee is much more reliant on gear.
