Desacrate + Detonate Dead
if the levels of the corpses are tied to the actual zone and not just act1/act2/act3 then it also means that people who were spending currency to roll "demon" maps just to get their high level spectres out finally have a solution.
sure, it might not always be a lvl 76 BM, but at least it would be a lvl76mob instead of a lvl66 |

So I tried it on my old dual totem sporker. If you have both gems linked to spell totem, DD dosent do anytthing.

The cooldown is bypassed with a spell totem?
I was thinking linking desecrate ground to trap + multitraps :). If the cooldown is bypassed with a spell totem that's pretty op and flawed as fuck lol :D Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes

I highly doubt cooldown is bypassed by totem seeing it's not bypassed with cold snap or enduring cry.
Trap + multitrap should work tho. Mines too. IGN: NNQQ, Sporkay, Rands_

" The cooldown isn't completely bypassed. You have 3 Descecrate Totem charges. You cast one totem (you now have 2 Desecrate Totem charges), that totem has 3 of it's own Desecrate charges. You cast another totem (you now have 1 Descerate Totem charges), that totem has 3 of it's own Descecrate charges. Killing off a totem to summon another will give the new totem 3 cast charges again. Basically, your casts and totem casts have separate charges. you dont need more than one Desacrate. totem part is irrelevant - it is fun but it is absolutely not needed
you need to get your DD dmg to over 100% mob health (conc effect + fire% passives + fire-pen). you cast desacrate ONCE, blow entire screen away with chain DD. detonate dead builds up to this point had one serious weakness - that first corpse to start chain reaction. there were variations of fire trap etc to start it, but fire trap is flat dmg and at higher levels it falls off desacrate scales linearly same as DD. this is my DD setup (as you can see plenty of improvement areas still from the gems) and it is enough. once you reach that one-shoot-potential level of the area you are in does not matter at all btw - biggest looser of this is Flameblast as now Desacrate + DD works better and faster |
