Desacrate + Detonate Dead

you havent tried it, have you? you need ONE corpse to start the carnage. multiple desacrates are completely unnecessary. just get your Detonate Dead up to 100% monster life dmg and all you need is ONE corpse

i just did lvl 71 map with enfeeble and while it was ALMOST one shoot it scales so nicely that it is almost cheating. desacrate, boom, boom (chain reaction starting), boom boom. you can - if you need scale it further with traps/mines but it is really not needed, not at all and my fire generalist is not even tailored for DD..

How did you kill the boss? Generally how do you kill bosses with Desecrate + DD in the case where there are not many (or not at all) monsters around it? Using Desecrate would seem slow because of cooldown.

The build reminds me Corpse Explosion D2 summoner :) Good job :)

TO be fair with Trap+Multitrap each descecrate allows for 9 detonate deads Which is plenty to chain case DD until Descecrate comes off CD.

well it is not a build per se. just two lvl 1 gems slapped together. i miss carcass jack for extra dmg and not a single piece of my jewelry affects my dd damage etc.

for bosses/ele reflect i have also incinerate with lightning and flameblast + searing totem - this is fire generalist with few +fire nodes. dedicated dd build should have more +fire nodes and less +spell nodes (As these dont work with dd).

also bosses usually come with rare stuff etc so if the chain has chance to start it is enough. i mitigate (somehow) ele reflect with lvl16 or 17 Arctic armor.
