how did you find out about path of exile

After trawling through google for games like D2, Torchlight etc. D3 doesn't appeal to me but this one definitely does.

First of all, I heard about it from some friends of mine, saying how awesome the game seemed and it trigger my interest. What made me register at the site was actually Totalbisquits video of the game. Did not now about the closed beta before I got to the site, and i will probably have to wait until open beta, but I guess dreams are okey? :)

Flux's first post on the game for Ingamers.

Came straight to the site and signed on, the game was so new to the world beond GGG then that the general descussions threads didn't even reach page 2 :)

A news post on Penny Arcade led me to this site, which had a link to the WTF video.

My story is quite sad actually. A friend of mine managed to get a key in some giveaway. He was not really interested in the game so asked me if I wanted that key. SOMEHOW instead of checking what Path of Exile was I checked Rise of Immortals. No idea how or why, most likely because I was reading about that game then. Anyway, some time later I was asked on Steam chat if I play PoE beta. So I checked the game again and realized my mistake in the past. Now I'm trying to get a key again, but karma is a bitch so don't count for too much ;)

Friend told me about it, Huge fan of D2/D1 still play D2 - lol. and the game itself just looks promising.

Heh, peeps in #medianXL (on quakenet) talking about it.
I finally got around to actually checking it out, and mentioned it to a friend so we figured wth, let's sign up.
